I am disappointed. I have had great curries from this restaurant in the past, but they refused to deliver my order totaling over £50 at 8:45 on a Saturday. I had to go to another restaurant instead.

Normally use this place for my fish chips treat. Tonight decided to try the Indian food. I'm not a lover of various takeaways but tonight changed my views. Just found my favourite. Outstanding food. Definitely compliments to the chefs. Highly recommended.

Punjabi Tadka is my new favourite Indian take away ! Run by Former head chef of restaurant Vari of newington! Vari s northern Punjabi Indian was one of Kents best so you can imagine how good the food is at Punjabi tadka ! Well worth a try and great value for money !! Ver carta

we have ordered take always several times in the past and food has been very good this occasion 15/4/16 was awful curry's watery bread seamed only partly cooked sag alloo potatoes hard and undercooked also lamb rogan had 4 small pieces of lamb in total !! I understand that the tadka is run by the ex vari people vari was always excellent shame tadka has got so bad

I am blown away by how amazing the food was at this restaurant! I ordered delivery and the food arrived hot and smelling delicious in just 30 minutes. The fish fry starter was fantastic and the chicken tikka butter masala was tender and bathed in a flavorful sauce. I can't recall the last time I had such incredible Indian food. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon.

We had our first take away from Punjabi Tadka this weekend. We know the chef from his Vari days in Newington. Food cooked by the head chef Punjabi Tadka reflects true flavours of Northern India. Chicken tikka butter masala on bone was very tasty, tender and fiery. So was lamb vindaloo as you would get it in Goa) and lamb biryani. Well done chef. If you want to taste authentic North Indian food with no frills then Punjabi Tadka is the place for you guys and gals. As 95% Indian Restaurants and takeaways in 20 miles of Punjabi Tadkka aren't authentic Indian and serve Indian-Pakistani/Bangladeshi food. Ver carta
