Absolutely loving food, i always get my Indian takeaway from there, best prices great service. My birayni was delicious, been buying my food there for 5years now and never been disappointed.

Had a superb buffet curry for 40 people delivered promptly at 6pm last Saturday evening for my sons suprise 21st Birthday Party. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we would thoroughly recommend the Purbani. Ver carta

Im a regular there at purbani and been going there for over 20 years. I always get the king prawn butterfly, chicken tandoori and chicken bhuna. I would definitely recommend if you love variety selection of indian and bengali food.

Never leave reviews but I thought I probably should. Ordered saag paneer, motor paneer and korma this evening. Everything tasted like it had hellish amounts of sugar and coconut in it and had no flavour other than that. Completely inedible which considering how much it cost was a real shame. Very disappointing, wouldn't order again.

Quality has dropped from average to unacceptable. I ordered two curries and neither were authentic or pleasant a pasanda is not a bad korma with peanut butter in it, and a pathia is not a bad madras with sweet chilli sauce added. Staff are so pleasant but never again. Overpriced and unacceptable. Plus they’ll text you repeatedly afterwards. Ver carta

Excellent as always , I’ve tried most curry houses in Guildford and purbani is by far the best. They have an excellent menu with loads to choose from and the food is always very well made. If you fancy a hot one go for the captain naga , it’s nice and hot and mega tasty , they do a really good chicken madras and the korai is a really nice mild dish.

This takeaway restaurant is very, very good. We regularly choose a chicken masala madras strength with a couple of side dishes, a rice a naan and it is just the right amount for a couple. The added benefit is that the Kings Head pub is next door so you can have a drink wait for your order. The staff are always pleasant and it is clearly popular owing to the constant stream of delivery drivers collecting.

We got our food via Uber Eats, the speed of delivery and service was very impressive and food arrived piping hot! But unfortunately the food is so sweet, my wife got the Korma which we know is a sweeter dish, but this was far too sweet. The tikka Masala sauce was lovely but the chicken for me was rather dry too. However there was a generous portion of meat to sauce ratio and you could tell the chicken was nicely marinated. Also our Saag Paneer was sugar heaven too, I've never had it so sweet and coconuty, it was as though it basically had the Korma sauce in it too. Unfortunately the first time we ordered here was 2019, and we got sent the most bland food, it was like the spices wasn't added... Ver carta
