"This was my second visit to PURE in a week. The food here really is outstanding. Full of clear and noticeable flavour and good variety. It is NOT a typical Indian restaurant with a menu longer than a Redwood tree in Yosemite but a thoughtful selection of curries including a Degustation menu for GBP52.00. I have had scallops twice now and my Chef partner and daughter and sister have shared multiple dishes as well. The staff are considerate and professional and VERY keen to please. Good wine selection again and of course suitable beer to accompany anything spicy. Comfortable seating arrangements and clean toilets. I LOVE this place. Small, high level, no nonsense, good simple food done really well. Cant wait to go back!"

Certainly one of the better Indian restaurants we've been to. None of the oily tomato sauces and tasteless hot Vindaloo curries. Interesting food. Interesting sauces. Good service.

we love this restaurant. we had the tasting menu and it was so good! they were also very satisfied due to the nutritional requirements. the service was great and good lighting overall we are still very impressed by this fabulous restaurant.

always excellent quality, but not cheap. £8 for a part of tarka dahl is, I think, over the top. They also add 12. 1/2 service fee. the service is usually good and the personal is always pleasant. a good selection of unusual things. far better than her average Indian restaurant.

Tasty and well cooked food with good flavour combinations. The menu combines the expected items such as Dahl Makhani (creamy) with the unexpected like asparagus with pine nuts (very moreish). The staff were gracious but the traffic of delivery people seemed to distract them, so that we waited a very long time to receive dessert menus (kulfi was excellent and beautifully presented). Onion bhajis were as usual perfect.
