"Mein Sohn und ich waren im Rahmen unseres monatlichen Essens diesmal im Namaste. Die Speisekarte ist in Summe der jeweiligen Landes Angebote reichhaltig genug, um jeden Geschmack bedienen zu können. Bemerkenswert ist, dass ausdrücklich daruaf hingewiesen wird, dass ohne Glutamat gearbeitet wird. Und das schmeckt man!!! Die Himalaya Suppe war in Summe nicht so ganz meines aber unsere nepalesichen Spezialitäten waren lecker und ausreichend portioniert. Ohne Glutamat kam der Eigen Geschmack erheblich natürlicher und angenehmer über den Gaumen als vergleichbare Glutamat Bomben beim Chinesen..... Wir waren das erste Mal im Namaste aber nicht das letzte Mal : Lediglich die kleinen Gläser (0,2 Cola 0,3 Weizenbier zum Preis von woanders üblichen 0,3, bzw. 0,5l stören ein wenig den Gesamt Eindruck. Abhilfe schafft die Wahl einer Wasser Flasche. dennoch bevorzuge ich beim Essen erwachsene Gläser :"

"Die Taverne Mykonos, in Voerde nur unter "Pliester" bekannt, gibt es schon seit über 20 Jahren in Voerde. Ich bin Stammgast und kenne den Inhaber schon ca. 30 Jahre. Es ist ein professionell geführter Familienbetrieb. Der Besitzer managt mit seinem Freund und Kellner den Theken- und Restaurantbetrieb. In der Küche arbeiten die Eltern vom Kellner (der Koch seit Beginn!). Es gibt z. B.frisches Lammfleisch von bester Qualität, selbstgemachte Weinbläter (sehr aufwändig herzustellen, leeeeecker). Der Gastraum wird ständig modernisiert ( zuletzt neue Theke, neue Garderobe, neues Besteck und Geschirr) Im Herbst soll eine weitere Veränderung erfolgen)"

"if you need a great guest house and a great old school restaurant in this small town, this is the place! the eating is genuine, the right German kitchen with beautiful small hauch added. the manager brought us a delicious little funny bouche of meatball in...brown sauce and teeny plate of delicious noodles. large carving, dark beer and go in any case into the authentic tavern!"

"Wir haben dort eine Geburtstagsfeier gehabt,der Service war super und freundlich.Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten und vor allem auch eine Speisekarte für die Kids.Die Speisen die wir ausgewählt haben haben super geschmeckt und auch den Kids hat es geschmeckt.Ich kann das Restaurant sehr empfehlen."

"who still doubts the beauty of the ruhr area today should go to Gotterswickerhamm (maybe in the evening, at sunset) and best return to the arche. yesterday evening we were around 19 o'clock there, unfortunately could no longer sit on the Rhine terraces, but from the inside of the local very well enjoy the view. that has been absolutely one of the high points of this month! the enchanting beautiful village of Götterswickerhamm lies directly on a rheic intestine and one has a grandiose view of the over gliding freight ships and cruise ships. the arche is located almost directly on the water, is only from a narrow road away from it. you dare not think of high water here... the local has a spacious parking space, but you can also get along well with the bike. the local was very well visited on Sunday evening – of course all window tables were reserved. the house side towards the Rhine is completely and large-size glazed, in front of the windows are double benches, where good 4-5 people have space. very happy to come here in a small family circle or with 2 friends couples. the clientele is thriving, quiet, well maintained, with a high average age. I could imagine, however, that there is also a lot of excursions at holiday times or good weather and, above all, families with children are too hospitable. we chose a free table in the second row, which is a good choice, because from here you still have a good look. the service was friendly, attentive, good dinge. immediately we were given the menu, a few minutes later a handwritten addition, which the cook had just sprinkled on a small note. nicely meant, but we weren't so spontaneous. the arche is known as a solid fish local. on the map you will find several fish varieties (seander, salmon, scholle, hering in different variations), but also various meat dishes, salads and suppening, also appealing small dishes, such as e.g. crab stews with salat leaf. my choice fell on the variation of zander und lachs. instead of kartoffeln I asked for extra much spinat, which was glad and unproblematic. I didn't manage the portion for 16,20 euro despite great hungers – and that's what I want! the two slices were beautifully fresh and delicate and yet slightly fried. On the other hand, the zander (otherwise my favorite fish) came quite dry and tasteless. maybe too old, maybe a little too long. instead of the mayonnaise shown in the map I got a wonderfully light rose-colored sauce that was really a dense. with the spinat was not saved, he was boldly seasoned and gave a wonderful colourful game to the salmon. my companion only choose a lotsen snack, which was a matjes herring in the salad bed (tubes, rettich, green leaf salads) with strong black bread and butter and ample tweeper rings. the water in the munde was already coming together. for 7,10 euro a satisfactory and yet unloading portion. also here convinced the fresh and the creative presentation. table linen and blanket were clean and clean, on almost all the tables burned. my red wine choir (3,10 euro) was served in a beautiful small carafe and was perfectly tempered. the line aquavit ice-cold, just as it is. the service worked perfectly, was concentrated and always friendly. I would like to have thrown a look into the upper floor where you can also sit a huge glass front and look at the Rhine, but I didn't get through. presumably, this stage is opened only at a great level. when we went, we actually met a single guest on the large view terrace. I was really touched that despite darkness and cool weather, the service also looked after this area."
