Since 1995 we have gone to this Indian restaurant, and the food is excellent, even if occupied you never wait long, the staff are friendly and service very good, the owner overseas and always asks if everything is okay. Working on weekends make sure you book or miss.

Today, we enjoyed a fantastic 4-course meal priced at £14.50 per person. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was exceptional. The menu had a wide variety of choices and was great value for the price. The restaurant seems to have a loyal local following, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Been going to the Raj longer than I can remember, just been tonight with my wife, son, his family and the grandson along with his partner, my wife is now wheelchair bound, the family and staff of the Raj do everything in their power to help us feel welcome, the food is always the same, never changes and is always to our liking, thank you so much for a great family night out. See you all again soon.

Went here on a whim after work finished late (nearly 11pm). All other takeaway options nearby looked awful. I must have arrived just in time as curtains were closed and staff were cleaning. But 10 minutes later I had a freshly cooked Biriyani. Was 20 minutes before I got back to my hotel to eat, but the food was still hot and fresh tasting. Good flavours, nice and rich curry. Tasted fresh. Great portion size. Onion bhajis were a bit greasy. Staff were friendly too. Decent price! Ver carta
