"We are fortunate to have Rations located less than half a mile from our home. Despite the name conjuring up thoughts of shortages from the World War II era, Rations in Thornton is far from that. The standout item at breakfast is the Rations breakfast box, which includes two sausages, two strips of bacon, two eggs, black pudding, beans, mushrooms, and two slices of toast. The portion is generous and absolutely delicious. There are also various options for barmcakes and batons to choose from. At lunchtime (or any time of day), the sandwiches are made with either barmcakes or batons and are filled to the brim. From cold meats, fish, and prawns to hot beef with onions and turkey with stuffing, there is a sandwich for everyone's taste. Additionally, they offer panini as well. The experience is complete with crisps, soda, and delightful homemade cakes. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by Rations on Fleetwood Road. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic - 6 stars!"

Consistently great sandwiches. When working in the Thornton area I always use rations for sandwiches but they also do excellent brownies of various varieties, all made fresh daily. Hard to pick a favourite,so try them all. You wont be disappointed.

I've been going to Rations for a couple of years and I will be going for the foreseeable future. No matter how long it's been since my last visit, everyone always remembers you and makes you feel welcome. To top it off the food is always delicious. Great local business, keep up the good work! we come now and then, since we moved on this wisely, and it took a good time to recognize the owner is our neighbour. good selection of food and quality is pointed notch. we really enjoy the breakfast butties and only when they think it is time to behave, they discover the blondies that are highly recommended.

incredible value, many thanks for the delicious fresh barm yesterday, bestow the sock of a soggy super market sarnie, and the blondie was apparently incredible! would definitely visit a lot of me here. I hope to come back when I am the next one in the opposite! highly recommended if a fresh barm is what they are not looking further.
