"Unfortunately, it just didn’t feel like a Michelin star restaurant. We did the 5 course menu and the only course that really stood out to me was the dessert. It was a whipped almost Oreo cookie cream mousse covered in a hard white chocolate. It...was excellent! In one course the langostino and the octopus both tasted lake they were defrosted seafood . I really don’t think a Michelin restaurant should ever offer frozen seafood. They should just offer what is absolutely fresh, local or in season. Another strange thing was that the server would never pour us water. I didn’t want to be snobby expect it everytime but at least if you are there see an empty glass, you should at least fill it especially when the 5 Gang menu for food was €135 per Person. I will say though, the waiter was very friendly and that made up for a lot of it but he definitely was not Michelin star trained. He decanted the red wine and one minute later poured it into our wine glasses. He should have at least let it breath in the decanter for a while. Oh well! I do hope that they improve these things bc the location is beautiful the restaurant is well decorated. It could really be a really fantastic experience!"

"Fernab vom Mainstream, ein großartiges Erlebnis. Bene bereitet mit Liebe zu und das schmeckt man mit jedem Bissen. Er verwendet nur regionale Zutaten, die ihm von Bauern, Fischer aus der Region bis hin zum Jäger aus dem Spessart ohne Zwischenhandel geliefert werden. Er kennt jeder seiner Lieferanten persönlich. Die Auswahl ist klein aber fein (so muss das sein ;)! ob Fisch, Wildschnitzel oder vegetarische Gerichte, für jeden was dabei. Ich hatte mich für Flußbarsch im Salzmantel entschieden, den er mir extra filetiert, vorher aber noch im Stück vorgeführt hat. Da das Gericht ein wenig länger für die Zubereitung braucht, haben wir uns als Vorspeise für die Kinkerlitzchen entschieden - schon die haben mich fast von der Bank gefegt! Die Antipasti-Gemüse waren geschmacklich perfekt eingelegt und das Naturbrot von einem Freund gebacken... Als Beilagen zum Fisch hatte ich Fenchel und Salat. Bisher war ich kein Fan von Fenchel, der war mir immer zu bitter, aber jetzt weiß ich wie er schmecken kann, fantastisch! Als Dessert noch das selbstgemachte Schokoeis mit Vollkornknusper, einfach nur himmlisch! Wein wurde von kleinen fränkischen Winzern gereicht (nix GWF!) auch die Auswahl außergewöhnlich und von von Bene und seinem Personal persönlich getestet. Familiäre Atmosphäre, die Location ein Traum - am Hafenbecken des Mains mit Festungsblick. Preis-Leitung super ok! Wir kommen schon bald wieder!"

"Beautiful family-run hotel with in-house restaurant.Simple yet modern furnished and well-equipped rooms at an extremely good price-performance ratio.Before check-in you will receive very friendly. This friendly service can also be found in the in-house Ristorante. There you can choose from delicious Italian dishes. Of course, as should it be different, everything is freshly prepared in the kitchen by the mom of the house. Accordingly, the quality of the dishes was also good. In this respect, every cliché of an Italian family farm is pleased to be met. That on a Tuesday evening, although we were the only house guests, each table was occupied also speaks for quality. But the absolute Knüller was the bill. I would have called this extremely favourable before Corona and the current inflation rate. Appetizers, main dish, drinks, coffee, degistif and 2 large bottles of water for the room at 59€. So here too is a top price-performance ratio. We find that Etna is one of the family-run Gastromomie farms, whose diligence and friendliness require our support in these days."

"After a few weeks ago I was at the Kyo for the first time, I visited the fast restaurant on two evenings last week. And further visits will certainly follow due to the tasty food and the location (five minutes walk from my second home). I would actually call the cryo a delivery service, but inside it has a small, quite modern guest room with an estimated 30 seats. During all three visits, my colleagues and I were the only ones who were on site. A few guests came by and picked up something to take away. On the one hand, this may be due to the fact that every time after 20.00 a.m., it was quite late and this also confirmed the operation that Kyo makes the majority of his sales with his delivery service. The services are apparently mostly students or students who work there a few times a week to earn some money. Accordingly, the staff is less trained. Once we were not noticed when entering, as no one was in the main room. So it took a few minutes until we were noticed, as the space with the seats from the counter is not visible. Workdays usually serve a young woman there. This is accommodating and nice, but also a little shy and unhappy. As an example, the following is true: When one of my fellow essers asked her for a recommendation, she replied to the question "What are you standing up?" and immediately began to crawl and ran red. This service also comes past our table every few minutes and tries to talk to us about God and the world as you are supposed to be boring. Since I find the service that is about our age very nice, I find these short conversations very nice. However, in certain situations, it also annoys a little, e.g. if our group has a conversation with each other and we have to interrupt it because of them. The drinks, for example 0.4 l of Cola for 2.40 euros, always came to the table in a reasonable waiting period. The menu is by far the most appealing and clearest I have ever found in an Asian restaurant. Well sorted by categories and provided with numbers. No spelling errors and with appetizing images. There are only Asian dishes. There are classic Asian soups and appetizers, as well as pigs, cattle, chicken meat, fish and duck in different variations. Some dishes are also served as specialties. However, these are only combinations from the other main dishes. So far I cost the five pieces of baked Wan Tan with sweet sour dip for 2.90 euros, once the duck with sweet sour sauce, rice and vegetables for 8.80 euros and twice the crispy chicken breast fillet with the same supplements as the duck for 7.30 euros. If you use the delivery service, the dishes are about 20% more expensive. The Wan Tan were crispy outside and hot inside and juicy. Very tasty. The first time I ate the number 45: The crispy chicken breast fillet with sweet sour sauce. Rice and vegetables are served as a supplement. The rice tastes steadfast after rice which is often obtained as a supplement in an Asian. Nothing special, but not bad. The sauce is tastefully good, but you taste a light glutamate taste. In my opinion, it could be a little thinner. I can't say much about the vegetables, because I usually leave this intact. Now to the chicken breast fillet: the dish has the name added crispy more than deserved. The panade is very tasty and crispy throughout. The meat is very tender and juicy. Very delicious. At the second visit I chose the court with number 55. The sauce, rice and vegetables are identical to the above-described dish in the dish with the duck. The duck is tender and juicy, but could have been a bit crispy in places. Since one of my fellow essers ordered the duck at all three visits, I guess he is completely satisfied with the duck. That's how I decided to take the number 45 again the third time. I was excited about that again. The food is tastefully good. The dishes were always hot and the portion size appropriate. I feel the price very cheap. Absolute recommendation from my side! I'm probably going to cost Kyo 's dishes in the future. Perhaps in the future I will be a bit more varied with regard to the sauce. The crispy pork with peanut sauce for 7.80 euros has already smiled at me during the last two visits. The ambience The ambience is above average beautiful for a fast restaurant. The furniture is high quality and the walls are attractively painted. I also find it positive that there is not too much decoration here, as is usual in many Asian restaurants of this price class. Thus, the guest room does not have a cheesy effect. Cleanliness The guest room has been clean every time. Also the counter made a very clean impression. I haven't visited the toilets yet."
