Stopped in here for breakfast this morning and had the best cooked breakfast I have had for years. Get yourself in here asap and check it out. I'll be back and I'll have extra mouths along with me!

Absolutely disgusting how they treat their customers. Rubbish staff who haven’t got a clue as to what they’re doing to solve conflict. Staff are rude and are stuck up themselves . Won’t be recommending to anyone. Ver carta

I had breakfast at this restaurant again this morning with my friends. I always return because the prices are very reasonable - under £5 for a breakfast that includes coffee. The service is quick, efficient, and friendly. You can't go wrong! You should definitely give it a try sometime.

As a last minute decision we decided to have lunch in the restaurant today. This is the third time we have eaten there and we were not disappointed. Fish and chips, mushy peas and a soft drink for £6.75! The batter was crispy, fish was lovely and flakey, chips were great. A real plate full! Well worth a visit!

Great value hotel. Location was perfect for us walking distance to hospital and train station. Onsite parking and only 15 20 minute drive to Gun Wharf. Stayed 2 nights here August 1st to 3rd. As a group of 4 lads going to Goodwood races, we needed somewhere as a base, and this was the absolute perfect solution. The landlord made us welcome and showed us to our rooms on arrival which were very clean. All of the staff were fantastic and very helpful. The breakfast was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had in a hotel. Perfect for what we wanted and will definitely book again for next year.

I have had two meals at this restaurant on consecutive Sundays and both were really excellent. The food was hot, tasty, and well-cooked. The meat was not dry, the fries were delicious, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were just right and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant itself was quiet, well-maintained, modern, and comfortable. But what really stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were recommended to try this place by a family member and we are so glad we did. It was great value for money. Thank you for the fantastic meals.

Since the refurb of The Red Lion the pub has gone from strength to strength with the décor and facilities of this establishment quite outstanding, also numerous TV screens to watch any sport available. Very reasonable drinks prices with a wide range of beers, wines and spirits and Happy Hour cocktail times which are a welcome addition. The food is quite excellent for pub food with special mention to the burgers here which rival any in the Portsmouth area, also I think the chef has had a past at a high restaurant because the presentation of the food here is always high end from the wide variety menu.
