"We were so looking forward to trying this place out for the first time tonight Friday 10th Nov. We are very disappointed. The service was lovely. The atmosphere was great. The food was rubbish, seriously overpriced for what you get. We ordered olives and scallops for starters. The olives and bread were lovely. The scallops were slightly undercooked, a bit wet if you ask me and the linguine was too wet also. We ordered the special steak. I insisted on no fat. My steak was literally just fat. My husband’s was ok, my son and I couldn’t eat more than half. It was literally riddled with fatty tumours. Seriously disgusting. The roasted tomatoes were not roasted at all. They were just warm. I don’t know. Add a bit of olive oil and leave in the oven a little longer. The chips were fine. My husband enjoyed the chocolate mousse. My and my son’ s sticky toffee was ok but the custard is warmed up in microwave. It makes it lumpy with a thin coat on top. Not great. But most importantly the table was sticky all over. Use an actual sponge with actual soap and dry with a cloth. This is the only way it won’t be sticky! We paid £150 with no wine. We had a complimentary bottle with the steak special. We won’t go again. The food was not at all the standard it should be. Maybe it was a bad day. The place was busy but this is not for us. We like gourmet food and we thought that it was what we were going to get. If you want delicious food then this place is not the one. The manager and our waitress were lovely but that just wasn’t enough. Talk to the chef and don’t serve disgusting steak specials. Parking: We were told we had to pay for parking when we got there. That should be all over the website. So you get one hour free which means you have to leave in the middle of the meal to pay. Inconvenient for everyone. "Absolutely Gorgeous Meal, myself and my Wife went for a date night just to celebrate our personal achievements so nothing to serious, yet Wagamama has a balance, it 's classy yet fun and has a unique charm. Personally as a meat eater who enjoys certain plates, Wagamama has done the impossible and has dedicated 50% of its menu to Vegetarian/vegan options which is great as a whole as it is a massive social trend this new Environment Friendly eating Wagamama have achieved well in Keeping both parties (vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters) but some items wear sacrificed to achieve this. Starters are great, mains are great, and deserts are also... You guessed it great!!"

"I was not too impressed with the order that I had from this chip shop. The cost being the major factor of my low review. I understand that right now in the UK, prices have gone up and therefore cost of takeaways need to go up aswell in order to make some money from their sales. But, the cost of £33.50 for a large portion of chips, 2 bits of fish, and 1 battered sausage in my opinion is simply too expensive. Which also worsened my experience, was for a large portion (which states for 3 people), it could probably do only about 2 people if that. I will say however, the staff were very friendly, and the food itself was actually pretty good. The chips were well cooked, as was the fish. Regardless of the good points mentioned, I do not currently recommend this fish and chip shop due to the cost and portion sizes. If they were to increase the portion size, and reduce the cost (even by a slight amount), my review would change."

"Great service and wide ranging choice of meat and inclusive salads and sides. Staff were very friendly and made everyone welcome. The premium choice is £4 more expensive than the basic, but the cuts of meat are worth it. It is not the place to go regularly, because of the cost, but for a treat, it is well worth it. It was not busy when we went (1815 on a Friday), so I cannot comment on how the service would be when it is crowded. It would have got 5 stars if it were not for the expense and the feeling that you are there to eat, rather than relax with friends. As I said, great for a treat."

"from beginning to end, it is a taste experience. we had luck getting a table in this little restaurant on a busy Friday night. we were offered drinks as we looked through the menu. there was approx. 5 6 starters and as many main courses to choose from. on a Friday and Saturday night, I think they only offer the a la carte menu. the midweek also offer a set menu. my man decided to have a swirling pleasure with a gruyere cheese epuff, which was divine and served from a glass tea pot. I had the cured salmon and scallops. both appetizers were divine, beautifully presented and memorable. we would certainly order again. for our main course decided two of our party, the Southdown lamb (educated and I have the dover soles with inherited and minze pure and large chips. (not sure why I didn't make a picture of my eating, but I think I was actually distracted and started eating before I remembered the picture! the dover sole was a fabulous twist on fish and chips. total divine and the most memorable part was the draught pure and the juicy fish share! the southdown lamb was a great hit. not only was it beautifully presented, it was also a very large part. 2 lammsteaks were placed on the dauphinoise kartoffels, together with a partly slowly boiled lamb. we could not resist the baked honeycomb and went alaska and decided to share this court. every bite was amazing. the service was friendly and efficient without being overlaid. eating is brilliant. certainly worth a visit!"
