Stayed here for a night. The room was lovely and the breakfast the next day was excellent. Staff were also very helpful. Would highly recommend

Just stopped by for a quick drink after football training, but ended up staying for supper. Ceasar Salard was one of the best I've had and the kids portions were very generous. Also service was very professional and polite. Will definitely be back.

Venue was great...as was the food... waitress was great...there was a guy in a waistcoat who was being complete pillock swearing about his vintage cocktail mixer...but other than that... We are people watchers lol ...i had been wanting to visit for a while and I would definitely go again

The Red Lion is a lovely restaurant located on Main Street in East Haddon with it's own off road car park at the side and rear. As two family couples we recently enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant. The menu is excellent providing a good choice of dishes and there is a well stocked bar with draught beers and fine wines. We had an enjoyable quiet weekday afternoon at The Red Lion and will definitely return. Ver carta

Lovely old traditional pub with some period features. Nice bedroom but key thing was the food- absolutely spot on. The breakfast was huge and also truly delicious. Made to order which is definitely better than buffet in my books anyway. Nothing to fault on that front at all- for dinner had fish and chips which was really good and the dessert lived up to their claims of being very good as all made in house. Service with a smile. A great find and good value considering breakfast included which filled me up for most of the day!

Our 3rd time at this lovely place for lunch and it is still as good as when we first came here. The setting is beautiful and the menu is very good indeed. The service is friendly and efficient and the food never disappoints. The specials on the menu were excellent with 2 of us choosing the chicken with tomatoes and pesto and the swordfish steak. Sunday lunch looks amazing and they have some very good events coming up in the diary for the summer. This is a lovely place to be and consistent in service, food, value and ambiance. Im definitely coming back.

I begrudge having to write this review, however I am appalled by the service (or lack of) from the red lion. I’ve tried to contact them several times and have been ignored, which is especially frustrating since the manger replied to a review a few days ago. We made a booking of 20+ for my partner’s birthday in June. Although the food was lovely, the service was not. Firstly, we were left waiting a while for the food even though it was preordered. Secondly, each person had to go to the bar to order drinks as staff did not take orders from the table even though it was on one tab.
