The food here is portioned generously and is well made. They have a vegan pizza which I would certainly recommended even if you aren't vegan. "Lovely meal, nice service and we were the only people in there until the end of our meal. The food was full of flavour, very filling and just the right sizing. Safe to say it allowed me to welcome a food coma. There was a gentleman there serving on his own and he was very punctual with ordering, drink serving and food serving. What was nice is he gave us space but welcomed conversation if we started it. Like we told the gentleman... we all definitely be going back again!! "We had a fantastic experience at Sunday Roast. The fresh vegetables, huge Yorkshire pudding, and tender chicken were a hit. My wife enjoyed her delicious pork as well. They have Guinness on tap and a great wine selection. It's a good idea to make reservations as it can get busy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning. Vegetarian options are available, although I didn't explore them closely. The car park is well marked with ample space. They are kid-friendly with plenty of highchairs. Wheelchair accessibility is good with only a small step at the main entrance, with other entrances available."

"Decided to visit what used to be an old favourite to our regret. Lunch menu is now a lot smaller than it used to be, with just the basics such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes unless you’re there on Sunday which we were. We therefore went for the lamb Sunday lunch, expensive at nearly £18 each! The plate was covered in a runny gravy, the lamb was ‘pulled’ probably to hide how small the portion was they gave you, and the veg was steamed but not enough to soften the carrots. We had a dog with us and they gave us a seat in the covered conservatory, the seats were cheap outdoor seats that made it difficult to sit forward and eat your food. We also asked for water for the dog and were told the dog bowls were outside they were bone dry. A high street cafe chain does a better welcome than here. There are plenty of places in the wider area that offer a better deal than here now, which is a shame as it used to be so good. Had a quick look round the shop and butchery whilst we were there to see the prices inflated compared to our normal shops and butchers, we won’t be returning."

"The food was alright, not outstandingly good for a Japanese restaurant. I have tried a lot better one in Suffolk in a better setting and cheaper price point. It is a takeaway add-on type restaurant which I did not expect to be too expensive. But when we got the bill, everyone at the table was surprised by 30% more than what is shown on the menu. We then noticed a 'polite notice ' on the wall saying 20% VAT not included and 10% service charge not included. We are fine with 10% service charge but it is against the law that not showing the actual paid price of the food anywhere in a restaurant, nothing on the iPad menu or the menu at the entrance. We all felt utterly fooled after the dinner, especially on a Saturday day out. We have never seen anything like this before in the UK living 10+ years here. Ruined the day. I will start asking a restaurant about VAT now. Terrible experience."

"beautiful small garden center with a super indoor and under deck area with terrace heating to eat. very good disabled facilities, brilliant for when I go with my wheelchair-bound dad. the personal is so friendly and obligated and great home cooked eating with magnificent fish and chips every Friday and a wonderful Sunday traditional roast dinner. Try it today if they are not a regular guest!"
