"First things first: If you go into a restaurant that is specialized on serving XXL meals for low prices, you can't expect Michelin standards. I like meat (a lot) and I am a good eater. So this restaurant seemed like the perfect place to go....indeed,...it comes close. The location is nice, if you manage to get a table outside with view on the small domestic port in Tempelhof. Inside it seemed a little more cramped, but we did not sit there so this is only a guess. As there are a lot of families going into this restaurant you will have to accept some sort of noise now and then. Again my advice is a place outside on the terrace. Our waiter was fantastic! Friendly, making jokes and explaining the food. Even though there was much going on, the service did not seem stressed at all. We had two types of small schnitzels. Both actually very nice. The meat was not the highest possible quality but the price indicates this up front. The breadcrumb coating was a little bit to soft for my personal liking (as it is normally crisper in Germany) and the gravy was definitely pre made or some sort of convenience product. Still...all dead in the range of a good meal for my taste. The big deal is actually the size of your meal. I have never ever seen an offer of 3kg meat and additional chips as an order for only one person. Currently, if you manage to eat one of those dishes on your own and announce the bet up front, you even get a restaurant voucher double the amount you pay for the meal back. All in all....nice place for family events and hungry people. Nothing for a romantic dinner"

they can not eat everything, it is too much for all, but very good, fresh meat-delicius bratkartoffeln, sauces, all local foods to taste real German food

The food is good, but what`s so attractive are the sizes! Everything there is huge! portion of 3kg meat with french fries or 1 kg burger is something regular!

Just got back to my hotel, in pain. The portions are so so big. Even the pictures don't do the plates justice! Everything tastes pretty good, but there is just too much food! Recommend going with a group of friends, but definitely not on a...first date!

super huge portions, we went every single night there. only 10 minutes by metro from the center and right next to the metro station. burger was not delicious, but carving was super delicious and super huge! it's expensive, but they just have to order one part, and even though. they have to take the rest!

beautiful location, with a beautiful view. eating is very tasty, we were like 6 and we couldn't eat what we ordered. we had a 5 l round and koks and was perfect (they have to) and don't forget the burgers, that's worth the money. have no fear of the size, you can take away all the left eating. come back to any case.

Went there with my wife, should we go again only with a group because the portions are so big it is really one portion for two people. Price for the food was OK but thought the drink prices were OTT Over The Top Can I...recommend that some more Things on the menu are a bit smaller. Must say the Spare Ribs were great but a half portion would have been better as my wife is not a real meat eater. Understand the concept but not all are big meat eaters.

we have booked a table of google for 17.00 clock. restaurant was not busy and we asked for a table with view of the canal, but they even refused him if they had many empty tables. Eating was ok nothing special and I would say expensive, especially for. the currywurst. the waiter told us that the chips were fresh and homemade, but I think they were frozen. portionings are large, as the name of the restaurant says. the opposite is really nice and the restaurant is right in front of the subway station u6.

Whatever you order here will be delicious and plentiful. I ordered a 40 Euro plate that more than fed my family of 4 and we had leftovers that filled us for 3 days. Huge amounts of meats and fries. If you're a vegetarian, this is...definitely not the place for you. I came here for the burger, however. The downside is that all their giant burgers contain pork along with beef, which means they have no choice but to cook your burger well-done (I like mine medium). So I didn't get the burger. My suggestion would be to provide the giant burgers with 100% beef, so people can eat them at their desired doneness. This is the type of place you take friends or family from out of town to give them a shock! The food really is MASSIVE and the place is set up nice. I would not recommend it if you are on a first date, though...:P I got the spare-ribs (1Kg), and my husband the Knusper currywurst (1/2Kg sausage, deep fried, and with about 1Kg of chips My ribs were ok'. Not bad, not amazing, but ok. A little on the dry side, and the sauce was a little to mild for my taste, plus there was just so much I could not finish.
