The food was nice but nothing special. Only had takeaway as the restaurant was closed. The staff were helpful and the portion size was generous.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced compared to other fish and chip establishments in the country. The wait in line was definitely worth it. The total cost for the two of us, including drinks, was £23.

Ordered the large cod and chips, twice, as a takeaway. Sat on the sea wall looking out to sea, eating with our fingers and a fork. It was very good. Another visit is planned there next time we are in Felixstowe. Ver carta

The regal restaurant is one of teh ebst fish and Chip restaurants that I know. Not only does it proivide excellent meals and a good menu it also does excellent Gluten Free offering. The Regal is always my first choice when in Felixstowe and its advised to book as everyone knows this secret gem.

We had battered sausage and burger with chips. It said they were butchers sausages. They were inedible. Pink, undercooked, with a skin on them which made me feel sick! The burger was absolutely swimming in grease. As were the undercooked, pale chips. Dreadful! We put the whole lot in the bin! Will definitely avoid in future

Great experience today with our lovely lunch. Served by Kurtis who was friendly and chatty. He took time to explain the gluten free options available and then clearly separated the items. The food was tasty and hot. Choice was good and prices fair. All in all a lovely lunch served by the friendly Kurtis. Would definitely order again. Thank you. Ver carta

What a disappointment. We've always enjoyed our fish and chips at the Regal but not today. We both had haddock and chips and the batter was far too thick and spoilt the meal and the chips were undercooked. The batter was so thick that in places it wasn't cooked. We mentioned to the waitress and she said she would let the chef know but we didn't hear any more.

I always visit the Regal fish and chip shop for their fabulous gluten free options and amazing service. I don't live locally but it's worth the drive as this is the only fish and chip place I trust wholeheartedly to provide safe, uncontaminated gluten free food. High quality fish and generous portions. The staff are so friendly and wonderful too I absolutely love this place and can't recommend enough!

Usually have really good fish and chips here, but.... Closing time stated as 2.30. Arrived about 2.05pm, and was turned away as chef was 'closing '!! Hmm why say you shut at 2.30 when it 's really more like 2.07?! So we went to the other one Fish Dish, open all day, and very good! Turning people away because you 're closing earlier than stated, is unwelcoming and unprofessional! There are othet cafe/restaurants in Felixstowe! Ver carta
