"Having been to Reggina 's before we looked forward to going again and showing the top rated restaurant off to friends. Sadly won 't be going again! The evening started off with a fairly long wait for drinks despite the restaurant not being packed. Once the drinks had arrived we then ordered. The waitress then knocked over a Gin and Tonic into my partners lap and had to replace the table cloth etc.,... strangely, no apology. We carried on and ordered our starters, mine was Garlic King prawns which I looked forward to. My order arrived as 'Scallops '. I told the waitress that she had made a mistake but she was adamant that I had ordered Scallops and tried to give me them for a second time. I told her to take them away and bring me the correct dish. This had to be cooked and arrived some time after my partner and friends had finished theirs. Still, the main course was still to look forward to.... or so we thought. I had ordered Spaghetti Carbonara something that I have had there before and liked. When it arrived it was tasteless and floating in Olive oil not the creamy cheese sauce I had anticipated. I called the waitress over and asked what it was and she said this is how the chef cooks it which is the Italian way. I had Carbonara in Italy and it has never looked like this!. I didn 't eat it as to be perfectly honest it was like having spaghetti presented in greasy washing up water!! Anyway long story short, the bill arrived. Ias ked the waitress if there was any discount because she poured the G&T over my partners to cover cleaning bill etc., expecting something like 'her dessert was complimentary ' but instead the waitress preceded to tell us about how she hadn 't charged us for my partners G&T. When looking at the receipt we clearly had been charged but she continued telling us that the G&T was free. After a while it dawned on us that she was referring to the G&T that she had poured over my partner. So I said 'you are telling us that the G&T that your poured over my partner is free? To which she said yes. By now the remaining customers in the restaurant were in fits at the explanation from the waitress. I said lets pay and go because my friends were now uncomfortable with the aggressive manner of the waitress. The other waitress (english) took the receipt away and came back with the two G&T 's removed. We paid and left... never to return!!!!! Advice, there are many restaurants out there with better service that Reggina 's offer with better value for money."

Not cheap but quality never is. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in hampshire food is lush.

What a hidden Gem!! I am so impressed with this restaurant, the waiter was ever so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. the building and decor was beautiful and the food was sensational. We had the lunch offer, which was amazing value. The chicken main was well presented and tasted amazing, We had roulade and cheesecake and they were so tasty and everything seemed homecooked and fresh. I would definitely come here again Ver carta

This Italian restaurant is charming, with oak beams and white tablecloths creating a pleasant atmosphere. We opted for the two-course set menu priced at £27. I particularly enjoyed the mushrooms in sauce and the seabass with a delicious sauce, served with potatoes, pea shoots, snap peas, and more. The tiramisu for dessert was outstanding. We paired our meal with sauvignon blanc and an Italian draft lager. The service was friendly and efficient, ensuring a delightful dining experience for all.

We made a reservation to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday at this restaurant, but we regret our decision. The service was absolutely terrible, with a waiter spilling a full drink on the birthday girl (unfortunate accident) and forgetting a starter. We had to wait 20 minutes to place our order, and it took over an hour to receive our main courses after starters. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills, including the replacement for the spilled drink. We also had to remind the staff twice to order coffees, and they tried to overcharge us for our meal.
