"Everything started really well with a friendly service and delicious food. After we had paid, the owner noted that the drinks were not included, which we honestly did not see. Not only did she shout at the poor waiter, but she also explicitly mentioned that we did notice and said nothing. I apologized and seeked for dialogue, but unfortunately without any answer from her side. Off course we immediately compensated the difference, but the fact that she did not accept that we were honest spoiled our experience. It's a pity but I would not recommend this restaurant."

Le Farinet

"We have been coming back to Crans Montana every year for 16 years we know what restaurants are available in the area, but for some reason had never tried Le Farinet, so decided to give it a go and had high hopes given the good reviews. However, we had a very poor experience. The service was extremely slow, it took 20 minutes just to bring us menus (and we had a reservation). I then ordered a dish with the primary ingredient being seitan and when the food arrived, quickly realized the seitan was missing. I notified the waiter and he said oh, I’ll ask the chef and brought the food back to the kitchen after which it took 20 minutes for the dish to come back to me with its intended primary ingredient. Meanwhile, the rest of the people I was eating with were waiting to eat their food and of course 20 minutes later, their food was cold. Mistakes happen, I understand but the worst part about the experience was the response and attitude to the mistake. No coming to the table while I was waiting for the food to apologize, explain the mistake and even when the food finally came and we were quite cross with the delay, no real sense of an apology, just very cold and matter of fact. Finally, when we asked one waiter for the bill, we waited 20 minutes only to have another waiter give us the dessert menu and had to ask for it all over again. Additionally, even though our experience was tainted by the bad service, I can honestly say the food was bland. A few people at our table got the quinoa curry dish and there was little to no hint of curry flavor and the seitan, when it finally came, felt like it was just thrown in with a watery broth. So overall, although it’s in a great location and has a nice terrace, I wouldn’t recommend Le Farinet go to one of the other lovely restaurants in Crans Montana, and you’ll have a better experience."

"Wir waren schon eine Weile nicht mehr im Continental und haben uns entschlossen, das Mittwochsmenü zu probieren. Wir waren angenehm überrascht von der Menge an Essen (meine Mutter hatte Mühe, ihr Dessert zuzubereiten, nachdem sie die Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht gegessen hatte). Sie erhalten drei Kurse für 18. 50 chf und es lohnt sich. Die Vorspeise ist eine Wahl der Suppe des Tages oder des Salats (die Salate waren beide Tage etwas unterschiedlich) das Haupt- und dann das Nachtisch. Es gab paniertes Hähnchenschnitzel mit Spaghetti und Tomaten-Basilikum-Sauce als Haupt- und Apfelkuchen zum Nachtisch am ersten Tag und Lasagne, gefolgt von Brownies am zweiten.Wir saßen am ersten Tag drinnen und der Innenraum ist hell und luftig, wir saßen am zweiten Tag draußen auf der Terrasse, als die Sonne draußen war.Das Personal war freundlich, schnell und effizient. Ich würde eine frühere Sitzung empfehlen, wenn Sie das Menu du Jour möchten, da sie sehr beschäftigt sind, am ersten Tag haben wir bemerkt, dass das gesamte Restaurant das Menu du Jour hatte und ich kann sehen, warum!"

"This is the place for a fun and lovely meal with the loveliest burgers. My 18 year old would consider himself an expert on burgers and this was his best of all time. If you’ve got kids and they’re bored of traditional restaurants full of...adults come here with them!"

"Nous avons fait un petit week end en amoureux à Anzère et avons voulu tester les Burger.Nous avons d 'abord tester leur bière artisanale conseillée. Certes... env. 6-7 fr la bière mais cela vaut la peine. Bière locale et très bonne! Sinon il y a des pressions ou autres boissons standardPour le repas mon chéri a prix un burger/fromage/bacon et a été ravi! super bon!Moi je n 'ai pas pu, intolérante au lactose j 'ai été privée de burger. Mais le serveur adorable m 'a conseillé d 'autre plat. j 'ai pris une simple salade.... mais ô combien délicieuse!!! la sauce une tuerie... et cela avait l 'air bien frais et avec du gout!j 'ajouterai, que le serveur connait bien sa carte, et sait bien renseigner sur les intolérances et allergies!Notre prochain passage a Anzère nous y retournerons!petit PS à un commentaire que j 'ai lu ici, sur ce restaurant oh mon dieu les dalles ont de l 'herbe entre elles ... heuuu est-ce un critère? on est en montagne... entre neige/pluie/soleil, je vous annonce que oui.. l 'herbe pousse! ahahah... non sans blague, je vois vraiment pas le problème et je ne comprends pas comment cela peut être gênant"
