"Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe an einen Freitag im Schankhaus und hatten auch vorbestellt. Pünktlich um 17:30 Uhr wurde die Gastronomie geöffnet und wir konnten unsere reservierten Plätze einnehmen. Das Gute am Schankhaus war, dass der Saal ein schönes Ambiente hat und bis auf die Ausnahme von Fernsehgeräten auch gut eingerichtet ist. Jedoch die Toiletten mit billiger Tapete zu bekleben ist nicht unbedingt geschmackvoll. Die beiden Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und versuchten alles in Ihre Macht stehend zu tun, damit es den Gästen gut geht, waren aber zu Zweit mit dem Service völlig überfordert. Stapel von Tellern und Gläsern auf den Tischen hinterlassen nun mal keinen professionellen Eindruck. Auch wenn man eine größere Gruppe ist, muss man nicht unbedingt 45 Minuten auf das erste Bier warten. Auch das Essen war nicht sonderlich gut. Man hatte einfach den Eindruck, dass das Management schnell und billig verkaufen will und die Kosten so niedrig wie möglich halten möchte. Zwei Servicekräfte für so eine große Gaststätte geht überhaupt nicht. Ganz klar keine Empfehlung!"

"Wir waren am Abend für ein Geburtstagsessen vor Ort. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Auch finde ich das Restaurant sehr schön eingerichtet. Sehr zuvorkommend wurden wir nach dem zuweisen des Platzes gefragt ob wir einen anderen Tisch möchten, weil wir direkt beim Zugang zu den Toiletten waren, was aber überhaupt nicht störend war. Gerne hätte ich 4.5 Sterne gegeben (was nicht geht) und möchte jetzt anfügen warum ich keine 5 Sterne gegeben habe. Die Geräuschkulisse der anderen Gäste war sehr laut. Da kann zwar das Restaurant nichts dafür, aber das hat uns alle am Tisch etwas gestört. Ein normales Gespräch über den Tisch war vereinzelt nicht normal möglich. Die Bruschetta waren sehr lecker und die Calzone auch. Allerdings möchte ich da anmerken das die Calzone von mir 5 Sterne bekommen hätte wenn statt des in Scheiben geschnittenen gekochten Ei`s, ein rohes Ei im inneren mit gebacken worden wäre. Das ist Kritik auf sehr, sehr hohem Niveau und das Essen war sehr lecker.Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe"

"Was really looking forward to a nice meal in the restaurant last night (23/07/17). So after checking the website where you can check out the menus, opening hours and look at pictures and reviews we decided we would like to go. We took a nice long walk down at 6.30, having already decided what we'd like to eat along with a nice bottle of wine. Having checked the website which said it was open from 5 until midnight. We got to the door to find the place closed. There was a sign on the door to say they were closed for 2 weeks for holiday. Checking the website again to see if I had missed something, it said on there now open. We don't begrudge anyone an holiday but what is the point of having a website that is not updated? So I can't give my opinion on the food as we didn't get to try it."

"We visited this restaurant after reading a tripadvisor review. The restaraunt is very small. We reluctantly were seated at the bar since all the tables were full. This ended up being a great choice as we got to know the owners of the restaurant. Mom, Dad and daughter all were working the night we visited. They are a delightful family from Greece. We visited mostly with the daughter as her English was the best. The food was excellent, prices good, and service excellent. The owners obviously take great pride in making every customer feel welcome."

"The city economy in Freiberg is not part of the city and its service system, it is not a waste disposal company but a super economy with good food for palate and stomach of hungry visitors. On their website, they say they are the northernmost adopted part of the Czech Republic. A wide and pleasant mixture of dishes of a Bohemian and Saxon style will surely make every guest find something. Whether vegetarian or vegan food is offered, I did not remember. I know what's offered is really good. Let's start with the beer: On good beers, Klaster 10° and 11°, Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Budvar and Krusovice are offered from the good old Bohemian healing sources. There are more, however, as our drinks list reveals: The Vozka, a non-alcoholic beer for the motorist also tasted very well, the price was fine with 3.50 euros for 0.5 liter. Just as much as half a liter of black bud wiser, always cost a good choice. New to me was my variety, a dark strong beer Bizon 16°, it ran nicely through my throat, though half a liter cost 4.50 euros. As mentioned, the food comes from the Czech and Saxon, and other international kitchens are also represented. In addition to the usual dishes, they have their own Burger side, for example the FreiBurger... But our food wasn't, so not quite. I had the Czech Bullshit, sprinkled beef also rolls, almost like a burger without lid, plus pommes and sauces, a new experience for 12.90 euros. You shouldn't have too much imagination and pictures in your head when you see the court.... My treasure was also very satisfied with his great Ur-Böhmisch Schnitzel for 13.90 Euro. The most unpleasant thing was, SIE was unfortunately only ready to sacrifice a very small piece at the expense. My Vati ate Svickova, Lende with dumplings and red cabbage, a Czech national court for 12.20 euros. That would have tasted me too. The extra portion of red cabbage (so did not belong to the dish) costs 2.50 euros. This, however, was not important in terms of assessment, it was in general enthusiasm for food. The fact that this supplement costs extra is perhaps also due to the fact that they serve with little vegetable supplements down there anyway, so that vegetables are not so in. The service was nice, diligent and attentive, without being intrusive. All in all, we have eaten well for 60 euros. We had already had previous experiences here, for example, years ago for the birthday brunch of my EX-REGATION here. That was also a successful round thing. The well decorated hot cold buffet was abundantly covered, kept something ready for any taste, fish, poultry, pig, cattle and wild, lots of vegetables, sausage and cheese from the Czech Republic, fruits and salads and desserts. Also special requests were not a problem, one of the Knirpse wanted a Schokopudding. Well there is just Schokopudding for the band was probably the idea of operation After few (for the children much too long) minutes the wish was fulfilled. What are you criticizing? If necessary, the very attentive staff quickly relocated everything. The fleet and nice service provided and cared for our guests. According to my Vatis, the price was totally fine. Worth mentioning for the addicts among us (counted even to 4.6.12), in the beer garden can be smoked, still. In the guest rooms are many old beautiful pictures of the venerable Silberstadt Freiberg. Also new was the dog bar attached in the passage, with 3 cups at three heights, for the different large dogs. A table order seems to me advisable here because we had won the penultimate free table at 5:30 p.m., all the others were pre-ordered or occupied. I recommend the city economy because of several good experiences with good conscience."
