"The location of the mountain cottage is a bit hidden in a sports park or similar. The guest room is completely covered with wood, there is a large screen through which you can look into the sports hall. When we came, it was still quite empty and we could choose a place. The operation was a bit slow or inattentive. We'd have ordered more if she ever asked. The food was good but the euphoric outbreaks, which are sometimes to be read here, I can absolutely not feel. The scavengers were big enough, neatly panned and fried, the frying potatoes were finally not out of the fryer (that's really great!! but from the pan. The pommes were delicious, seasoned with a good spice salt. In particular, I would like to point out that there is actually a reasonable selection of desserts in the Berghäusel!!! This is rare, usually there are three different ice cups and finished. Not here. There are Kaiserschmarrn and Zabaione fantastic!! At the time it became somewhat uncomfortable in the guest room, as people were constantly sleeping with huge sports bags and the operation and the cook always ran out. I think the sports facilities are still being cared for. Unfortunately, this brings unrest into the guest room and you don't feel so well. Conclusion: Because of the unobtrusive operation and the restless ambience, I draw two stars. Otherwise we would come back if we were close but not drive to Mainz."

The food has taken us on the day when we visited it very seniguous the pommes but were good and extrawünche was received. The service is good if you consider it alone you have to say that you have a lot of effort there is also very clean

The carving was super tasty and delicate. The mushroom cream sauce was prepared with fresh mushrooms and not from the bag. For this we had ordered a small salad which is quite sufficient for two people and was prepared with a delicious salad sauce. The service personnel were also very accommodating.
