"This restaurant made me appreciate the American custom of tipping. Generally I like not having to tip in Europe (although that practice seems to be changing a bit), but at home a waiter knows that he can earn a great tip by providing excellent service or a not so good tip if he's just not that into you. The servers at Anda Lucia were just not that into us. A request for water was never fulfilled, our waiter rushed us through ordering, and gave us the hand when we tried to get his attention for something. Finally, he tried to insist that our US style credit card without a chip wouldn't work in his machine before he even tried to swipe. Really? Were we the first customers you ever had with a chip free credit card? And then lo and behold! The credit card worked on the first attempt, so what was all the drama about? When traveling abroad, we bend over backwards to dispel the myth of the ugly American. We are polite and deferential and NEVER start off in English. Hubby speaks both German and Spanish quite well, and I can do just fine in Spanish myself, especially at a restaurant. So why the lackluster service? We'll never know but I hope it wasn't because we're auslanders! The food btw was excellent! Sardines, mussels, cold seafood mix, tortilla española, and patatas bravas were all delicious. Some of the dishes were slightly different from what we're used to at home but because we're not far from Spain, perhaps more authentic. The meatballs were all beef and no bread crumbs so they were a bit dense, but they came in a delicious tomato sauce. The setting right on Sauvigny Square was also beautiful and a definite draw. If we'd had a different waiter this review would be four stars at least, but only the excellent food and drinks kept it at three rather than two stars."

The servants work hard to ensure that you have a great experience. Good teamwork and very nice tapas. We had live music from dedicated street artists.

A great atmosphere, nice and courteous service and even delicious food. There were three of us here. Reserved on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Rightly so, 1 hour later AndaLucia was full inside and out. We had paella

A very pleasant experience with attentive staff. The 2 paella dishes were cooked fresh taking 30 minutes. The ‘Argentina’ steak I had was excellent reminding me of the Asador Restaurant in Jerez. For those who enjoy Spanish dishes, definitely worth experiencing.

Already been here 4 times and it had a nice spanish vibe. Maybe a bit slow or different for people who are expecting timely and fast serve but I didnt mind at all since I was out to enjoy. Food was of course so nice. The fried sardine, olive.. jarmon : Love Jose and his witt. : Will definitely go again

Leider haben wir zum zweiten Mal sehr schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Wir hatten unsere letzte Erfahrungen vom Dezember schon bei Goggle bewertet aber der Inhaber dieses Spanischen Restaurants hat offensichtlich unsere Bewertung löschen lassen was uns einfach nur enttäuscht und traurig macht. Wir können nur jedem neuen Gast abraten von einem Besuch und möchten jetzt nicht zum wiederholten Male alles was wir leider erleben mussten noch einmal zu schreiben. Nur ein kleines Beispiel von uns Bestellen Sie sich bitte einfach mal nur die Aioli Soße. Sie werden leider feststellen müssen das es keine selbstgemachte Soße sein kann und einfach billig schmeckt.
