"Mein couseng hat mir diesen Laden empfohlen und ihn sehr gut geredet. Als ich hier ankam war das Ambiente bereits sehr fragwürdig und ich habe mich gefragt ob ich wirklich in einem chinesischen/thailändischen Imbiss war oder in ner deutschen kneipe. Das Menü war ansprechend aber das Endergebnis änderte dann meine Meinung zum Imbiss. Schließlich kam ich zum Entschluss das mein essen das übrigens von kleinen fliegen übernommen wurde) mir und meiner Begleitung nicht angemessen genug war damit wir weiter im Imbiss sitzen konnten und wir mussten ihn schließlich ohne Trinkgeld verlassen mussten auch wenn die Mitarbeiter recht sympathisch drauf waren. Gerne wieder nur wo anders."

"Curry house is a small Indian restaurant located just a few steps from Kaiserslautern old town. It is very clean, nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere and comfortable acoustics, so although the place is packed it is not noisy. Food is excellent. Everything I tried tasted amazingly good, but their lassi with mango and Indian ice cream were top."

"First I must praise this establishment for it's diverse, delicious, house-made, and made-from-scratch menu. On weekdays they have a sampler lunch special which is set daily that rotates through their menu for 12€, that always includes assortments of lamb (1), chicken (2), vegetable (3), dessert, naan (Indian bread), chutney, yogurt, tamarind sauce, etc (they have an alternate vegetarian version).I hadn't had authentic house-made chai like this place has since I was in Afghanistan.The first time I went here was with a colleague on a weekend when they have the weekend buffet. I'm skeptical of buffets but I was thoroughly impressed that quality was not sacrificed for the increased quantity... and let me emphasize again that the yogurt, bread, chutneys, chai, etc are house-made.The proprietor is super friendly and eager to accommodate.Also, I was here on 27APR17 for lunch and saw Morena Baccarin's doppelgänger eating with a friend. "The Ayame is one of the best restaurants in Kaiserslautern and, when it comes to original Japanese cuisine, definitely the best restaurant in this region. The masta (head chef) is a master chef. We enjoy the best sushi and ramen around here. All dishes, original Japanese cuisine, that are not so popular in Germany, such as: B. Okonomiyaki (Japanese omelette), Takoyaki (octopus balls), Karaage (fried and previously marinated chicken), grilled eel, or the vegetarian dishes are also of the highest quality. Everything is freshly prepared. Even the wasabi paste is handmade and one of the best I've had the pleasure of enjoying. As a Japan connoisseur and lover, I can highly recommend Ayame. You can't praise this restaurant highly enough. Ayame is a great stroke of luck for Kaiserslautern. If you are also a food lover then I highly recommend this restaurant. The price-performance ratio is very good and, contrary to general opinion in Kaiserslautern, cheap. The ambience is pleasant, simply typically Japanese. "I know a little in Kaiserslautern. But there are always new tips. And old tips. I remembered Saarschmecker's contribution to the Cardinale of 2015. “Food” has me when reading this review that I never noticed this Ristorante before. After all, I almost went to the hated-poor vocational school (as many) years ago. Central yet hidden near the Palatinate Theatre. Our car was free from 19.00 a.m., so we tried our luck in the “Cardinale” without reservation. Unfortunately we couldn't sit in the green courtyard anymore, the summer is over. Before the restaurant entrance already the current recommendations. “Spaghetti with truffles” and “Fresh mussels”. The jelly of choice! Entrance area Few steps go down to the restaurant. The historic building has survived wars. Today's building represents the rest of a farm with economic buildings. So everything is slightly angled and heats out. A very young employee welcomed us with a radiant smile. For a Tuesday evening the restaurant was already very well visited. Luckily we got another nicely covered table in the vaulted cellar. Reserves should not be a mistake. The maps were equally handed, the recommendations for the day were again written on a large wallboard. We ordered a bottle of mineral water, San Pellegrino, 0.75 l € 5,50. The menu offers pizza, pasta and Italian classics. We agreed quickly: The spaghetti with truffles € 16,90 should be for both of us. A small appetizer salad was not on the map, but the patient assured that she was not a problem. The desired dressing was requested. Mineral water was immediately and the small salads, as desired with balsamicodressing, were served shortly later. Fresh ingredients, good dressing, also freshly cut (in stock) Ciabatta. The supplemental salad was found on our invoice voucher with very fair € 2,90. fresh supplement salad It went very lively to this evening and I advised about the age of our young service staff. Could she be 18? In any case, she had a well-portioned gastrointestinal rogen that sprayed not only friendliness, but also with tearing joy and cordiality out of her. Also with the other guests. She was supported by the head of the house. In the meantime we ordered a reason alcohol-free, 0.33 l € 2.50 and Frascati, 0.25 l € 4.20. He served our pasta with freshly planned black truffles. Not the most expensive truffle (not expected otherwise), I suspect Burgundy truffles. The portion is well dimensioned and served in the deep, preheated plate. Rich truffles and what I expect to be high: here was not refreshed with truffle oil or truffle butter. It tasted pure and good, Parmesan. Simple and convincing. Not only a crispy chip as a decoration on top. Spaghetti with fresh truffles We were very happy with our choice, our evening, were well-careed. The question of whether everything is right is not lacking in the small salad or in the pasta. Despite a fully equipped restaurant, the acoustics were pleasant and not too loud.
