great place for German food. good value for money and nice atmosphere. would come back and would recommend it!

The place and the menu doesn't look like much, but the service and food was absolutely amazing! Worth a visit if you want good german food and a beer.

This restaurant was quite close our hotel. It is quaint and local. The food was great value we tried the fish dish and the steak. Both were large portions and served quickly.

Nice service and reasonable pricing. In a weekday almost fully booked. Good atmosphere. Took their Hamburg wiener schnitzel which was really good. A small beer and my day was fine. Ver carta

Came for lunch with my Wife and Daughter before visiting the chocolate museum. We had the schnitzel, currywurst, hamburger and apple pancake for dessert. All served very quickly, and made to order. The waitress spoke excellent English and was very friendly. I'd definitely recommend a...visit if you're in the area.

Just across the street from the Chile Haus and around the corner from the Chocolate Museum, this little restaurant served up tasty German cooking and delightfully cool Koenig Pilsner. My wife enjoyed a very flavorful Pork Schnitzel Wiener Art while I had a flavorful schnitzel in a mushroom cream sauce. Folks at a neighboring table tucked in to a copious North German Labskaus and seem to enjoy it a lot. Service was prompt and friendly and commanded enough English to get our order perfectly understood around my basic German. Nearest U-bahn stop was Meßberg on line U1.

We had a few alternatives for the lunch around the area, but then made a quick decision for this restaurant. Or it's more of a pub-like place. There were some other people there having a lunch, too, but plenty of tables to choose from. We chose from the daily lunch menu and the food arrived quite fast. And it was really delicious. The chicken was not cooked too much, but still it had the crispy grill stripes on it. And it was joined with a huge baked potatoe and a large salad. The amount of food on the plate was plenty even for a hungry person, but still it was well-made. The service was fast and friendly, and it looked like the whole place was operated by one man and a lunch-time help. Cons... Ver carta
