"Good evening dear Gastroguide Community, last Tuesday I visited Pizzeria Pomodoro in Lennep with my better half. You don't believe it, but I've never been to eat there before as a native remscheider, although the pizzeria enjoys a really good reputation in the city. It is generally considered not quite cheap but good (at least my experience. However, if the quality is correct, then the price must also be correct, otherwise something is wrong. However, I was very pampered with Italian food, but the week before was a visit to Italy with my friend's relatives. That was a feast for friends of pasta, pizza and, of course, good meat. The restaurant is located on the edge of the old town, where there are also many restaurants (Spanier, other Italians, etc. Service: We welcomed the owner at the entrance door, who just smoked. The greeting was friendly, he said to whom we should turn. In the restaurant we were guided to our already reserved table. A friendly waitress, one munks the owner's wife, looked after the evening. Despite the well-stocked location, the operation was usually fast. Only at the end there was a longer waiting time when ordering the dessert, apparently there was a misunderstanding with the other staff. But we were not on the run..The lady was polite but not overwhelmed, but I also find it very pleasant. Ambience: I find the place very original. We had a table in the bottom. There is also an upper floor, but it was already occupied. It should be even more comfortable here. In the entrance area you can see various fresh antipasti in a glass showcase. Our table was in the corner, with acceptable distance to the neighboring tables. What I thought was very disturbing: There was no Italian music or something else, but Radio RSG. Nothing against the transmitter, but if, besides the ever-equal Chart Gedudel, moderators are still chatting and making funny jokes... it doesn't serve a cozy atmosphere. Apart from that, we felt comfortable. Cleanliness: Everything I saw was clean. The tablecloths were also freshly covered, no stains from predecessors. The toilets were also clean. Food: Let's get to the centre of a restaurant visit: The food. We ordered the small Antipasti variation as an appetizer. In addition, there were pizza rolls with herbal butter and herbal cucumber. The rolls were no longer warm, yet tasty. On the plate of antipasti were ham, salami, grilled vegetables, olives, cheese...all old acquaintances with this kind of order. However, the individual things were all tasteful and covered with neat olive oil. We ordered pizza as the main course. I had a pizza Milano with ham and salami, my accompaniment the pizza Ruccola. We chose dishes from the standartdarte. The ham was very thin and of good quality, not ham from the supermarket but fresh goods. The same applies to salami. Even no lakes of fat, so tastes a pizza. The pizzas also had a pleasant size, the floor was nicely thin and crispy. Really successful. However, with great hunger, I recommend at least one appetizer or a dessert. I also had a dessert to Tiramisu. Also very tasty, the biscuit was tasty with liqueur, the cream was also fine, not too sweet. She made the impression, however, as if there were more cream than mascara, but that is something different everywhere. My friend glowed vanilla ice cream with cherries (when I was quite disgusting. I can't judge if the ice was self-made or not. Price performance: We have paid for the small appetizer dish (8 euros, two pizzas, two desserts, a large bottle of water and a small carafe of wine with tip. I find the price appropriate for service, quality of food and also for quantity. However, it should no longer be much more expensive, and these standard dishes are also grounded. However, it is also possible to spend much more money here for meat and fish. Overall impression: We were happy with the evening, surely come again. If you are looking for a good Italian in Remscheid you will find it here. In my opinion, he also has significant advantages over the competition in the Lenneper city centre, especially as regards PLV and the atmosphere. As far as the more expensive food is concerned, I can't judge here. But maybe we'll try this the next time; I'll give here 3.5 stars of 5. I don't really have something to do, that's right, and I was fully satisfied. For the 4.5 5 star region now simply lacked the outstanding experience, which made the evening unmistakable. "Halli Hallo zusammen, also wir hatten uns vor ca. 3 Wochen Pizza und Nudeln beim Pizza Town, nach Telefonischer Vorbestellung abgeholt und sind mit dem Essen 15 Minuten entfernt zu meinen Eltern gefahren. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, die Jungs haben es echt drauf und das Essen war noch warm und dazu Super lecker. Seit dem bestellen wir jedes mal bei denen, und die haben ja wirklich alles worauf man grade hunger hat. Und der Lieferservice braucht keine halbe Stunde, und das Essen kam immer heiß an...einfach Spitze..Preis-Leistung ist der Qualität entsprechend sehr gut, weil man für sein Geld gute Portionen bekommt, und die Pizza auch sehr Ordentlich belegt ist...weiter so Jungs..
