"This restaurant is located directly in the Herbelon campsite, near Treffort. The interior was renovated in winter 2020 and has a large and pleasant outdoor seating area, which overlooks the campsite and the Monteynard lake directly beyond it. Luckily, there are many wide parasols to provide shade if needed. The surroundings are very attractive on a sunny day. The food was fine, but in some cases not much more. For example, the steak and the chips were just that, without other vegetables. But the starter salad was very good and good, and the desserts were impressive both in their amount and in generous portions. The Mojitos were not very good, but the half bottle of Saint Nicholas Loire wine was very good. Service was pleasant, but slow in our case, especially because the waiter had decided that we obviously had a social opportunity and were no hurry. Others were served faster than us. For the four of us, with alcoholic cocktails, half a bottle of red, a coffee and mostly 4 courses, the bill came to €188, which I near from above "adequate" under the circumstances. We would probably go again, but maybe choose for a few 'A la carte' dishes instead of the complete menu."

We had been told of the good of this restaurant! what disappointment . frogs insipid and ochre very disappointing for the taste buds and served almost cold with a sauce frozen in the plate, dauphinois grtins dry.The whole seem to come out of the freezer.Woefully the ice, especially the episcopal" came to the level. What a nice surprise to have dinner in this great restaurant. the chef puts a point of honor in cooking local products. It's great to be able to eat frog thighs from the corner, the truite of the organic triève next to, fresh and crunchy vegetables from the garden next to. Brief: a team of enthusiasts who will let you discover their great terroir...There is also a child menu, and a teenage menu! with the amount you need!

we were with family, 7 people, we took aperitif, dish (salade) and dessert! and we have enjoyed ourselves! Well, we were expecting a little salty, but it was worth it! Cocotte egg with foie gras! homemade fries, house nuggets! salmon paved in excellent burger! Dauphiné's snails of awning and ravioli: divine! ! everything or almost is done home! , bread and even ice creams like the one that accompanies gourmet tea! I am a customer accustomed to this restaurant as well as my family for years, food is always excellent but the service leaves to desire a lot of gaps and expectations, the prices of the menus are important ( maybe because of a large foreign clientele) and yet we are used frozen bread we eat with paper towels as in a snack. I think the bosses can do much better, and more respect the local customers, who are very disappointed like me with the general welcome and service that is degraded over the years. Also used to this restaurant for years, we are very disappointed with our last visit.45 minutes to take the order of the apes !! as much as to say we've been forgotten. I asked for a hamburger without the cheese (blue), he arrived with. But the bacon wasn't there. it arrived (after asked) on a sub-bass, heated to the microwave. rather disappointed by this restaurant that in the past had rained us a lot. the fish was good but simply accompanied by a very dry rice, the dauphinois gratin. and the ravioli to my wife's crayfish were also rather dry.
