"a friend who lives in the village usually travels to meet us for lunch because there has been no restaurant here for a few years, and that was just a basic bar. after the reviews I tried to try the new le vassol. The...interior is tasteful and there is an open fire for the colder months. outside there is a beautiful small courtyard with a simple fountain and the walls are suspended with plants. the shading is supplied by sunshades and there were some gaps in which the sun immersed. the midday menu does not offer choice and the alternatives were also restricted. we would recommend the fixed menu. today's offer was an appetizer of humbly with chorizo and salat, roasted pork with an orzo risotto (nicely seasoned and much lighter than rice) dressed with a mix of sweet and tiramisu. everything was freshly cooked and delicious. the service was efficient and welcoming. we recommend it and would return anytime."

They re-opened in March 2016 with new owners. Friendly athmosphere and good food! Easy parking in the small village. Even our dog was allowed.

Really a very good experience, nice place in a typical village, and the food is just great, very fresh and refined. Good service too. Price is very reasonable especially for the quality you get. for courses. Nice choice of local wines too. Compliments...to the chef!

Bit late posting this.We went here on spec as the place had been closed for a good few months, we were not disappointed, it has an excellent wine list the food was very good and excellent value for money. It is a very well run family establishment with a relaxing atmosphere, as we only stay about 5 minutes away it could become a regular haunt when we have visitors! Highly recommended if you are staying locally or just passing by!

We stumbled on this fabulous bistro on our way back to Avignon from Mt Ventoux. Each delicious dish was cleverly put together to look good, combine flavours and textures and to taste amazing. Style of food was contemporary Mediterranean with twists and turns We sat...outside in a courtyard that was ambient and romantic Service was excellent. A nice little bistro in a very quite little village. We stayed here for a short cycling holiday and only ate here once (and came once for drinks) but if we had been in the area longer, we would have been back more times. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is lovely. I had a really, really good burger cooked to perfection with melted local cheese. The table next to us had grilled prawns and they looked amazing. Nice terrace to sit in the cool and while away a couple of hours. Open 7pm to 9pm. Recommended.

looking for a house in the Provence was recommended to us le vassol by our real estate agent who lives in the village. we sat on the sunny terrace for our first visit and enjoyed a delicious three-course lunch block in the Provencal...sun we have been back for six or seven times and as the weather we chilled in one of the two cozy rooms. each visit was exceptional, eating, wein and service are the first price. make this with reasonable trips with friendly and welcoming staff and it is an absolute must to visit when they are in the opposite.
