"So, on the front.... after some bad reviews and an internet page that was updated last time in 2014, we drove there very awkwardly. arrived there, we were also immediately received by a friendly service. We ran the menu quickly and I took the Sauerbraten and to my suffering I ordered an extra dumpling to do what was a huge mistake, my wife the Schnitzel Swiss type, the Kids Potato Buffer and Chicken Nuggets. While the kids were still playing outside on the chute, the donkeys and the rabbits were marveling, the food was already coming. Pretty lush portions was my first thought. Then my food came and my lower jaw fell on the table. A megaportion... 3 dumplings, 2 large thin delicate slices of sour roast and a blue herb in an extra bowl.. All in all, the plate very well filled. Then came the carving.. I know what a full plate looks like. A mega XXL scavenger that really fills the whole plate and when you look at it, the water in your mouth is running together. Nice to bake with cheese. So much we have ordered over half to pack and take. The table neighbour was also the case. My conclusion.... Very successful, super tasty and the price performance ratio absolutely top. And each one of us has become tired.... afterward, everyone is still an ice cream and we are rolled to the car.... Fact is.... WIR COMPONENTS.... NO QUESTION!!!! The only criticism.... Portions should be quietly smaller, or alu foil for packing and take along immediately:"

"More and more, unfortunately, in Franken, the realization that in tourist destinations one can increase the prices partly into the Utopian. Here the world is still fine. In Fichtelgebirge, near the Czech Republic, surrounded by spa resorts, this hotel is a source of relaxation. The way through the forest is only courage, every way leads somewhere... rewards with a view of a lake as it is rare in Bavaria. Quiet, quiet, relaxing. Right on the parking lot is the hotel with its beautiful terrace built directly on the lake. We were lucky this day, the first day with beautiful weather. Warm enough to stay outside. Around us, we were almost the only guests in this mid-season. The outdoor area is practiced for the coming summer. Decent, not cheesy. The terrace is equipped with massive benches and tables, pillows and blankets are available for the more sensitive natures. Go ahead, nobody bites here. The service, from the nearby neighboring country, radiates like a second sun, asks for drinks and gives a menu to the hand. Not excessively large, but with things that are expected in the Frankenland. Schaufle, various books, some wild and on the map of the day also a fresh, homemade goulash soup. Anyway, let's try it. The medium-sized crucible for 4,50 € takes something, but is already convincing from the scent. Brate sauce, goulash meat, paprika, potato pieces exactly SO this soup has prepared the gastronomine of my childhood. Add a basket with eight slices of bread in sorting. Much meat in the soup, so much that it is not actually a soup, but already a stew. We both agree: The best, ever eaten by us in a local goulash soup. The drunk specific cost around 3 € for 0.4 liters, not quite cheap, but the view and the very clean place must also be somehow entertained. Also the remaining food prices are more than fair, we will definitely include this place in the list! Oh, yeah, the toilets.... Either you say divorce at the reception and let the toilet accessible from the outside open, or you go down the very narrow stairs in the house. Other Manko: The narrow cabins in the newly renovated toilets. Go back in, close the door, get out. It is practical, but not recommended for Klaustrophobiker. For this, the location pikobello is clean. Conclusion: Going, slamming, enjoying views. Note: In the house we were not, on this day only the terrace settled. But at the latest in autumn, when the oven is pumped, we come back...."

"Schöne Lage für Wanderungen etc. auch mit Kindern. Wir hatten einen schönen kurzen Familienurlaub. Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber. Familienzimmer fanden wir mit unserer Tochter sehr praktisch. In Sachen Moderne/Renovierung ist noch Luft nach oben aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir hatten Halbpension und waren sehr zufrieden. Beim Frühstück hätte ich mich über etwas mehr Abwechslung gefreut. Ein Lachs oder Kuchen am Sonntag wäre toll gewesen. Das frische Obst war aber super und kam auch bei den Kids gut an. Das Servicepersonal war durchgehend freundlich. Man merkte es gab altes Personal das die Kunst Gästen alle wünsche abzulesen perfekt umsetzte und den ein oder anderen der noch etwas übung braucht dabei viel Erfolg. Insgesamt können wir uns gut vorstellen wieder zukommen"

"Wild herbal buffet was totally delicious and recommended! My absolute favorites, though all dishes were excellent and made with much love,the legwell Pesto Schnitzel,the sponge abortion!!! the carrots Giersch Quark and the vanilla milkshake! We will definitely come back!"
