Restaurant O Summertime

I'm happy to have visited this cozy restaurant with good food and music! I also liked the owners and their friendly and welcoming way of hosting their visitors.

Perfect place If you went in Marseille for some days. Delicious food , perfect price , bet service. For sure I will come back in this place again P.S. The owner of the restaurant makes you feel like you are eating at home

We loved our lunch here with the homely feel & good food. It's run by a husband & wife team, the wife running a friendly sevice & the husband doing the cooking. We nicknamed him the "whistling chef". I recommend the octopus salad. It's worth a visit!

We had the special the night we came, it was a seafood dish and really beautiful and tasty. The room was quiet and they had great music playing. The wine we were offered was great. The owners chatted with us at the end of the meal and were terribly charming.

We went for lunch because of the positive reviews on here and it did not disappoint! I had a lovely chicken curry and my bf had the lamb and cous cous. The local wine was delicious and the lady who served us was really lovely. I would highly recommend this place.

In a side-street of the historical area "Le Panier", just near the Mucem museum and with a quick access to the sea, but away from the bustle of the streets, a cosy little retreat which makes you really feel at home, with wonderful guests and even a liitle couch to have a starter or a coffee.The meals change every day and are simply fresh and delightful. Even if the choice is limited, the variety of tastes - fish, meat or vegetarian - offer more than one could guess (the last time I went, I had a traditional aîoli). The breakfasts also sound quite appealing. And it's really affordable.

I had picked out this restaurant to try before we'd even left for the airport but it took quite a while for us to get around to finding it as its off the beaten track to say the least. We arrived at 1130 and were told that the menu consisted of only 2 items. duck with potato & carrot mash and green beans. Or... Fish with potato & carrot mash and green beans...So, we ordered one of each. Despite the lack of choice the food was amazing! Both of us cleaned our plates entirely, even using the bread given to mop up every last juicy drop!The owner was lovely and helpful and you could very much tell that they cared about their food, but it was a shame that only two dishes were offered at that time...

Despite setting out from our hotel specifically to find this little side-street restaurant, we almost walked right past it. Very unassuming exterior with a colourful and pleasantly-decorated dining room inside, we arrived right after the breakfast hour had ended and before the kitchen had begun preparing lunch. Fortunately for us, the owner and a young man working there - possibly a member of her family - described what they planned to make for lunch as best they could in English and got started early for us!
