"We walked in off the street at about 8pm at night. We asked for a table for two for dinner to be told that they didn't have any!!!!!!! Can I point out the following - the place was empty!!!!!!!! There was at least 15 tables of various sizes all empty and only about 6 people in the place not including staff.They were rude and unhelpful. I am glad we didn't eat there as we went to zur kneipe instead. I will review that under its name. My advice WALK ON BY"

Had a lunch here and it was nice, fast service and a good meny that cover most of your wishes, big portion so you dont leave the restaurant hungry.

We chose this place because it was a sign outside saying Schnitzel mit Spargel. When you are in a foreign country I think it is important to chose something that seems to be local food.So we did. The meat and the asparagus was good.The servant was very polite.Ok Place. Ver carta

R23 is pretty typical German local restaurant. There are nice selection of beers and some of the most typical dishes available on the menu. So, all the features for a nice place to have a lunch, but nothing else. There are more entertaining spots around quite nearby. Friendly service though.

A very intriguing place. Seems to operate as a canteen for visiting school groups so its like a railway station with a constant flow of people. This makes for lively rather than chaotic in a city where post-7pm the restaurants can be like a ghost town.We had the menu. Excellent schnitzels... friendly service and a great vibe. It must have been one of the few survivors of WW2 bombing with its great bar and wood panelling. Definitely worth a visit.
