Very good early lunch at Sauerkraut. Service was quick and friendly, and the view on the outdoor patio was quite nice. Both my girlfriend and I opted for the slider prix fixe menu, which included a high quality beef slider, two different types of fries, a salad, and two different types of sauerkraut. It was priced extremely well also. Would definitely return on my next Dublin trip.

Came in on a Tuesday night for dinner and there was no wait! The server was friendly and the decor/vibe of the place was modern yet chic. I ordered the Bavarian white sausage in broth with the side of potatoes, and saukrat and it was so good! Everything tasted so flavorful but not overwhelming at all. I personally liked dipping the sausage into the sauerkraut and the potatoes with the apple jam. Great first dinner in Berlin!

My oh my the menu is very extensive! Everything sounds so delicious, but I decided to try the Käsespätzle, and it was subpar. The egg noodles were a bit tough, and the flavors did not impress me. It wasn't bad, but it just tasted boring with the unseasoned truffles thrown on top of melted cheese. Some extra garnish or spices would've enhanced the dish because I was shaking that pepper shaker like no tomorrow. I don't know if I will be back, but if I am, it definitely won't be for the Käsespätzle!

This was my first stop post-nap after I arrived in Berlin, today. It was a rough day of travel, and I still have no idea if my luggage is going to make it to me while I'm here (yikes! but I needed to rally and get out of the hotel instead of stress about it, and I'm so glad I did. Sauerkraut is casual, but wonderful. All of the meals that passed me on their way to tables looked divine, and I was thrilled with my Bavarian Weiss Brat! Most of their entrees come with a heaping serving of two krauts, a homemade mustard, roasted potatoes, and a little side salad. I ended up with a pilsner on draft and left full and happy for under 20 Euro. I'll be back!

The menu has lots of options, including quite a few that are vegan-friendly. We both ordered drinks, but unfortunately they didn 't come out until after our mains arrived. We got the schnitzel and the lamb sausage. The schnitzel portion was HUGE. You could definitely share it between two people and leave full. I LOVED the sauerkraut that came with Rus ' lamb sausage. It turned out to be a ritual almost that we would return to this area time and time again when we couldn 't think of what to eat. This is one of many cool restaurants the lined the street here with the ever so inviting patio. We had their lunch specials which as fantastic deals! I had the entire works with the sausage, sauerkraut, fries..etc. I can sum it up in one word meh . Everything tasted as expected. Besides all the historic and modern sightseeing Berlin has to offer, I was honestly most excited to try some German cuisine. Particularly currywurst!
