Went with my 2 kids parents for meal. Food was brilliant, staff were all lovely and very helpful. Good gluten free options. Really nice atmosphere.

Great food and great service for our New Year's Day meal. We had a lovely table looking out over the water and the decoration of our table was spot on. This has become our go-to place since its reopening and is well worth a visit.

Visited tonight 31st Jan 5 family members. Had a fabulous night the food was tasty the staff excellent Ryan behind thd bar was exceptional his manners he couldn't have done more. He is a real credit to the Ribble Pilot. Thank you everyone because we don't see the chef's

Popped in for lunch without booking in the busy week before Christmas. Food was great. Can recommend The Cowboy Burger. Very good burger and crisp tasty fries. Lovely atmosphere and, despite being very busy, we were served within fifteen minutes of ordering. Pleasant friendly staff. Definitely visit again Ver carta

Met up with friends for a catch up and something to eat. Ryan was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. He engaged in conversation whilst serving our drinks at the bar very kindly carried some drinks back to our table for us. Ryan is an asset to your company! He obviously loves his job and that came across in the service he provided and his interactions with us. Thanks for looking after us Ryan

Myself and the family came in for Christmas dinner the food was fabulous and all the tables looked excellent it must of taken ages to set this all up and this review is mainly for the staff they were excellent!! I've had plenty of Xmas meals away from home but this was by far the best!! The staff who looked after us Dan, Ryan and Sally were really excellent and all on separate occasions went out of their way to make sure we had everything and unselfishly gave up their own Christmas to make sure ours was perfect!! So to the three of you and the kitchen team Happy Christmas and have a great New Year's you really deserve it!!! Thankyou again

Since the pub closed and reopened after the renovation work the food quality improved by a mile and I really enjoyed their fish and chips when I first (hesitantly) revisited and the next time when I had a lovely turkey Christmas lunch one Sunday. Sadly when I visited Friday 26th January fish and chips was not available…no fish on a Friday? so I resorted to having the prawn cocktail starter as a main meal…it was nice with lots of prawns but was a let down considering I was so looking forward to fish and chips.
