The food was delicious, nice size portions We had a takeaway which arrived on time and very hot. Can’t praise this place enough.

Reliably good food and good service. It can get busy at weekends especially for take aways. So be prepared to wait for up to an hour.

The best Chinese about, only takeaway Chinese we use after trying so many. But please change your crispy chilli beef sauce back, the new one isn’t nice it was my favourite thing

Came to Rice yesterday for my Dad's birthday. We had a really fantastic meal. All the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The food came quickly, was beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious. We loved it and will definitely be back. We noticed it was really busy for take-aways, which we will also book in the future. Thank you for a fabulous birthday celebration.

I made a mistake on my online order I put wrong delivery time. I immediately sent a correction to the email address provided no reply. Tried to phone numerous more than 10 times always engaged. Food delivered as original request 2 hours earlier than required sent back. Nothing heard from Restaurant. Eventually I went to the restaurant to see what was happening nothing as far as they were concerned. Restaurant ambience stark quite different to previous visits. Re arranged delivery which was made shortly afterwards I think it was the original supply re heated. We shall go elsewhere in future. Ver carta

Picked up a takeaway for a dinner with friends and it was average. Because Rice gets such rave reviews on the local Facebook group I thought I had to leave my thoughts here. Starters were okay but nothing to get excited about, mini spring rolls were mostly empty, ribs were chewy and the crispy duck was cooked beyond crispy ; The satay chicken ad seaweed was fine so some success with the starters. The main courses were poor; pork with ginger and spring onion was devoid of flavour, I couldn't taste any ginger and couldn't see any spring onions. We we a large ish table of around 18. The food was good, no complaints there but considering there was only one other table of 4 in the restaurant those of us at the far end of the table were served much later than those at the other end. As we didn’t have individual plates but had large sharing plates that we helped ourselves to, that was unacceptable, and meant that one end of the table was still waiting while the other had finished! The main complaint however was that the restaurant was freezing. Had we been told before our visit we may have had the chance to dress more warmly as the staff, who were obviously aware, were wearing body warmers!! The other table also had they coats on for so...
