We have been buying our Friday night takeaway from Ricepaper for sometime now and have never been disappointed. Tasty food and friendly staff

I have been ordering takeout from this restaurant for years, and sometimes I even travel from Prestwick to get it. I also occasionally have food delivered to my workplace. I have never had a bad meal and have tried several items on the menu.

I thought I would give it a try to day , ordered 6pm came 8 pm very busy, well I wish I hadn’t bothered I got a sweet and sour chicken It was the worst I have ever tasted very weak there was no taste to it , watery mild , it was just terrible , perhaps it was a bad night but never again , I won’t be back Ver carta

We have tried most of the Chinese takeaways locally and can’t seem to get the same quality and taste we get in Rice Paper. We use this takeaway at work (NHS as well for 25+ meals and if it can satisfy all of these people in a oner then they are doing something right! Staff are also really nice : Highly recommended.

Seriously! Special Fried Rice….dumped in the exact same sauce (advertised as Gravy) as came with our starter of BBQ Spare Ribs!!! Absolutely disgusting, like black gunge and enough salt to kill all at the table! Get real guys. This is not the time to be serving such low standard of food. And as the title says…..never again!

Placed an order on Sat night only to get home and find out it was wrong. Phoned to be told delivery driver would bring areplacement in 45 mins only the wrong meal so everything else would be freezing if I was to wait. Then told theres nothing they can do. Food that did come was cold and poor quality. Customer service very poor. Plenty and better chinese in Irvine go to them and dont waste you time and money going here. Ver carta

In advance I ordered a variety of meals for family and friends on Christmas Day and bang on schedule our food was prepared and ready for us at requested time. Our guests were delighted with the quality and obvious freshness of our various meals. Once again rice paper met and exceeded our expectations of quality and friendly service. Thank you Alex and your team for cracking meal which contributed to our Christmas Day celebrations. Looking forward to our next meal from you.

We decided to try rice paper for the first time after hearing so many great reviews, but we weren't completely impressed with everything. The service was lacking at the beginning, the portion sizes were small, the chips were only half full, the rice container was not full, and the food wasn't very hot. In terms of taste, it was just okay. The chips were undercooked, the onion rings were small, but the curry sauce was tasty although a bit spicy. We may need to try something different next time as it could have been because it was busy. Overall, it was not the best Chinese food I've ever had.

I recently visited Rice Paper again and, as usual, was greeted by friendly and efficient staff. The food was delicious as always, and I have yet to find better Chinese and Thai dishes anywhere in the west of Scotland. I don't mind traveling a few miles to get takeout from Rice Paper because it is definitely worth it. I must mention the hot and sour soup, which is prepared exceptionally well here. I have had this soup in various places around the world, but the version at Rice Paper is unmatched in taste and quality. Keep up the great work, Alex and staff, your high standards are truly impressive. Ver carta
