"It 's a place located high in the mountains is a bit far away but it 's worthy to arrive up there because the view is amazing. Umbria has great panoramic views in general and this place is all you can ask for if you are looking for a romatic location. I was there for dinner, so it was dark and you could see all the lights sparkling it was impressive. Inside the restaurant it was full of people and in the centre it was a roaring fire where different types of meat were cooked. Overall, it was a bit crowded. Because of the roaring fire, the waiters seemed to have issues passing in different directions with big plates. We were actually asked to sit at our tables and not to go around the place (children were playing everywhere so it was a teritory already 'conquered ' by them). The antipasti were classical prosciutto, salami, cheese nothing in particular that was noticeable. We took also bruschette, three types (funghi, pesto and pomodoro) I recommed you to take bruschette al pomodoro because it was the best plate. We actually ordered an extra one it was really tasty. The other ones needed a more intense flavour and the oil seemed of low quality. As primi we took pasta ai funghi neri, gnocchi and tagliatelle. I absolutely loved the pasta ai funghi it had a subtle garlic flavour and the right consistency. The gnocchi were classical, nothing particular as taste. Regarding the tagliatelle, I usually like this dish so it 's not hard to say something nice about it. The ragu tasted as it should and overall it was very consistent. As seccondo, everybody usually takes mixed grill with different kind of meat: pork, lamb, chicken, etc. I honestly don 't have a clear idea about the variety of meat, it just looked and tasted diverse. We were more at the table and I was already feeling full so I didn 't manage to taste everything. What I can tell is that it was classical meat cooked on fire (the roaring fire in the centre of the restaurant) nothing in particular. Some was a bit burnt, but it helped with the general atmosphere created by roasting meat in front of everybody. I absolutely liked the pancetta it was very tasty, not too crispy or chewy. At desert we ordered sorbetto al limone it was classical, flavoured. Red wine was on the table nothing that stood up from the point of view of the taste. What was negative about the experience was the attitude of the waiter he was very in a rush and seemed not polite with customers. He took the order very fast, used a high tone of voice, seemed expeditive and genuinely looked pissed off (no idea why). One friend who is on a diet wanted some grilled vegetables instead of meat and when he said that the waiter actually gave him a certain wierd look. We laughed and what I can say is that if you are a fan of the Soup Nazi character from Seinfeld you should not skip meeting this real version of him. Also the toilets seemed like from a horror with a broken intermittent light and bad maintenance. I think they can really do better at this chapter for improving the impression they leave. The price was a bit too high from my point of view considering the service and the quality/price ratio. But I cannot say I did not enjoy the experience. You just need some sence of humour, a passion for eating roasted meat and a curiosity to discover umbrian cuisine."
