Casalingo - Carta

Preislich top aber das Essen ist nicht der Hammer. Persönlich gehe ich nicht so oft essen und würde lieber mehr Geld ausgeben.

I have only eaten here for lunch however the food is simple, cheap and cheerful. The place has room outside to sit which is nice for the summer and you can generally get a good feed at lunch time without breaking the bank!

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner here very reasonably priced and delicious food. Staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate a vegan request. Off the main road and slightly hidden so keep an eye out for the sign in the corner. Ver carta

Not so many Italians in the staff but all very nice. Very tasty small pieces of beef on salad and Parmigiano. Excellent entrecôte with veggies not over cooked. Great fish. Not very romantic. It lacks a feminine touch. To follow up.

We split a Pizza Margherita and had three glasses of wine at each. Pizza was very good, thin crust, generous amount of good mozzarella, fresh basil. Service iffy. Waiter miffed we were splitting an individual-sized pizza, I guess. Decor very modern, if sterile....Brightly lit.Comfortable enough.

We stumbled upon this place by accident, and were pleasantly surprised, the service was good and food was also good, didn't have any problems, so much so that we ate there on a few occasions . The restaurant was clean , the waiters know limited...english but they tried to explain the menu as best they could, which was fine. Ver carta

We didn't want a big Bavarian meal, delicious as they are, just something simple. Casalingo was perfect and in a quiet courtyard setting. Service was prompt, efficient and courteous. Ambience was good for us, away from the busyness of Munich. The pasta was good and...the price reasonable. A good choice in a market with plenty of choice.

I really wanted to give to this restaurant for its excellent food, but on the other hand I wanted to give because of the service time. The food was super delicious and so fresh. The salads and the fish were exceptionally tasty. However,...it took them exactly hour to serve the appetizers and exactly another hour to serve the main dish. We were supper tired of waiting! They said that night was an exception and it won't happen again! I will go back and try once more!

This place is pretty hard to find and even on busy booked days in the city you may be able to find a table here. The first thing that would come to mind is that the quality is low but I am starting to think...its simply so hidden. I mean where can you get a table on valentine's day by walking in. There was a group of well dressed locals leaving when we arrived and elderly men at one table having a conversation. They all looked satisfied so we decided to give this a try. The menu is relatively simple and we took the waiters suggestion of anti-pasti selection to share. It was surprisingly good. Then we decided to go for the pizza and again we were surprised.
