Mais où est la cuisine italienne ?Les tagliatelles à la truffe noire sont très bonnes. Et c'est tout. Quel dommage.La serveuse ne sait même pas ce qu'est un ristretto

Wir haben im Sansone Due gut gegessen. Pizza, Nudeln, Bruschetta sowie Fleisch gab es an unserem Tisch. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen. Die Einrichtung ist aus einer früheren Epoche, aber das tut den Speisen und der freundlichen Bedienung keinen Abbruch. Die Weinpreise sind allerdings eher auf der teuren Seite.

This restaurant was next door to our hotel, so we decided to go there on the first evening arriving late to the hotel. It was really a good decision. The food was excellent, we had great tuna steak and also the goat cheese salad was fantastic. The staff was very nice, friendly, taking really care about us. We liked it so much, that we returned 2 days later again for an other dinner. We tasted some more fish and also the pizzas. Both were very good. If we are in Cologne next time, we will visit them again.

As a road warrior, at the end of a long day, it's wonderful that a restaurant combine friendliness, accommodation and tasty meals.In these scales, Samson Due is right at the top-the staff is vey friendly, accommodating as to where to sit, how food is to be prepared etc. All have genuine smiles and truly try to please their guest [not customer]. The location of the place is convenient to the Dome walking distance, by bus and train but also to the car. The restaurant has open throughout. Inside, the many places in summer also surprise the outside. The services are friendly – with Italian charm. We were led to the reserved table and immediately received the quite extensive menu and drink card. It ranges from snacks to appetizers, soups, salads to pasta, pizza and fish, meat and desserts.
