"We were welcomed cordially at the entrance and led to the table at the window. I was a bit thirsty, so I ordered a beer. But believe it or not, there is no standard Swiss or Italian beer for aperitif! So my friend and I went for wheat beer, which was not our intention. Anyway, I chose carpaccio di tonno al sesamo, peperoni e riduzione al balsamico for starter. Well, the taste of tuna fish was so dominated by strong roasted sesame, which was a pity. My main dish was gnocchi di patate con pesto di fiori di zucca e pinoli; gnocchi was of couse prepared al-dente, but a bit harder than that. The presentation was very good and the staff was flexible enough to arrange our dessert individually. This relatively new restaurant has creative dishes, too."

Excellent Italian food whether it's antipasti, primi or main course - just be aware of the large portions ( the wonky "downside"), seriously consider sharing plates or stay with just 2 courses which would be a shame as you miss out on really good foodPlus the service is excellent AND very friendly Italy at its best Ver carta

I really recommend this new restaurant, very fresh and delicious food in italian style,with nice service, and also very beautiful and relax atmosphere. Very good for friends dinner and also for romantic moments. They have also a very good choice of Wines. The price is very onest compare to the high quality.5 STAR!! Here down the picture of Tiramisu(the best) :-)

Zurlinden 21 is without doubt the best Italian restaurant I have visited in Zurich! Being Italian and having tried most of the Italian spots in the city (and looking for the 'real thing' and authentic flavor) I finally found myself totally satisfied with the cuisine of this restaurant, which combines also an excellent service. The staff is very professional and friendly, providing top service! The food is wonderfully presented and everything tastes very good (we had parmigiana di melanzane, polipo salad, spaghetti all'astice, tiramisu and other desserts one better than the other). I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to eat delicious Italian cuisine. We will surely go back!
