"I had high hopes for experiencing tea at the Ritz in Paris, I’ve enjoyed an excellent tea service at the Ritz in San Francisco, so Paris should be even better, right? Sad to say, not even close. First of all, there were no savory offerings every single item was sweet or semi sweet. A couple were quite tasty, but the majority were just bland and boring. I tried them all, but couldn’t finish them because, like I mentioned they were all sweet. The tea itself was good, very few to select from, but still good quality. The staff was friendly and accommodating although I felt quite rushed out of there since my reservation was close to the end of the service. If they didn’t want to seat people so close to the end of service, they shouldn’t have offered that time to make a reservation! The staff hovered and kept trying to clear everything away although I only spent 45 minutes in total there... rather rushed! The ambiance was quite nice, but the offerings and service made it all in all a disappointing experience."
