"Finally an amazing meal in Venice! That was our favorite. The restaurant is nice and the service was friendly. Above all, the food was delicious and fresh and exceeded our expectations. "we discovered this restaurant through the app and it was a wonderful surprise! excellent dishes and variety of menus. we ordered two appetizers (calamari in fennel sauce and beef carpaccio) and a first (paccheri al ragù di anatra e castelmagno,) with delicate and refined flavors. good service and relaxing atmosphere. if you pass from venezia consider it a mandatory stage!"

"Dopo che eravamo già quest'estate, abbiamo voluto fare il bis anche in inverno e direi che questa volta siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti. personale molto gentile e cordiale, ottimo cibo e ottima musica di sottofondo che va sempre bene. controllo del passaggio verde all'arrivo, spazio dei tavoli e sanificazione eseguita correttamente (dal periodo e dal momento che non tutti i locali seguono questa politica direi che c'è una nota a favore). consigliato!"

"Un posto veramente delizioso dove mangiare, abbiamo pranzato qui in coppia e devo dire che sono davvero, davvero soddisfatto. Menù diviso tra carne e pesce, noi abbiamo optato per il pesce: una zuppa spettacolare che incorpora meravigliosamente tutti i sapori della cucina veneziana, un riso al nero di seppia spettacolare, una bella grigliata di pesce misto con scampi, Gamberoni, orata e salmone, davvero sensazionale. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, il servizio veloce, preciso e affidabile, l'ambiente è perfetto, non troppo affollato ma ben curato, che trasmette la bellezza delle calli veneziane. Spettacolare, risponde perfettamente alle aspettative."

"Wished we can like it more. Found Le Bistrot de Venise via Michelin Guide. If you like a older school style restaurant, and to be seated in these different small dining rooms, the clientele the night we were there was very mixed tourists: a loud table of 8 of Brit family, a couple that drank coke for dinner, and 3 Asian friends. To the restaurant's defense, service was attentive and Venice is a touristy town but i still can't get pass the ambience being like that. Overall comment is that the dishes seemed dated. The amuse boche was a piece of smoked fish that seemed to be missing something. My main was the steamed eel $35) which was the highlight of the meal, amazing dish, fresh, cooked really well, the skin had a great texture and very flavorful. The other dish duck) was a bit tough, a bit over cooked to my taste, a bit dated. Beef tongue was another average dish, served warm. Somm was extremely helpful and helped us picked 4 wines to pair with each dishes, reasonably priced by the glass program was a nice perk to try different local grapes. Overall, service was good, they are here aim to please, but a very old school and touristy restaurant off the main area. Just not to my personal taste. I much preferred Ai Mercanti night and day if you ask me)"
