"We arrived at the time we had booked, they didn’t have our table reserved so they tried to seat us on another terrace, not the one booked. We asked to be seated on the upper terrace and they managed to seat us but they were very obviously annoyed, and a little rude. Ordered starters and mains which all came out together and when we said we ordered them as starters and mains were told “well that’s not what the order says” they sent them back and whilst we were eating our starters they asked us 4 times if we had finished. Hey presto when the mains came out they were very obviously reheated. There was hot salad on my plate! All the food was going to the wrong tables, wrong orders, the table next to us waited an hour for their drinks. Starters were lovely, mains were not. We ordered more drinks which they got wrong twice, so we left straight after eating what we could. To sum it up an awful evening, almost amusingly so, as it was chaos, the staff minus two lads working were rude and the food was kept under a hot plate. We won’t be returning such a shame as it’s a beautiful setting. One word of advice to the management please ask your waitresses with really long hair to tie it back, there was hair everywhere and we could hear other people saying the same!"

5.75 a pint of Stella. Staff added 10% service charge on top. (I queued to be served and took my drink back to my table) 6.33 a pint in total

Lovely setting and decent food but thought the menu was a little limited and they were clearly understaffed as many places are at the moment. Good for a spot of lunch but there are other options in town.

The staff was very friendly. While the starter was disappointing, the main dish was excellent. The food was reasonably priced, but the wine was excessively expensive. The tables and chairs could be rearranged, but the lighting was too bright and the music too loud.

Both the starter and the main course were very good, but there was a significant delay before dessert was served. I feel that during holiday parties, guests might not receive the best service. If it hadn't been for our delightful waitress, we might have chosen to dine elsewhere in Stratford.

We arrived to find that there wasn’t a table reserved for us. There was also a very big noisy group at the bar. It was impossible to get near enough to say that we weren’t staying and would like to cancel the booking. So we left. We have eaten on the terrace on another occasion recently and it was very good.

Excellent service. Welcomed by our waiter Sam who was so pleasant and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for him. He’s a real asset to your team. The food selection was limited and the main course came out before we’d finished our starters so perhaps a little to efficient. The ambience and surroundings were lovely.

Our reservation didn't go through at Riverside, but fortunately, there were plenty of available tables in the restaurant. It was quite noisy due to a large number of people at the bar, likely from a conference taking place. The food was enjoyable, although the chips were extremely hot, so we had to let them cool for about 15 minutes. Overall, the service was excellent.

Hice una reserva esperando comer en un restaurante, pero resulta que a esta hora solamente hay servicio en el bar. Terminamos comiendo del menú reducido del bar, siendo atendidos por los bar-tenders (muy amables, pero pues no son meseros de restaurante). La comida francamente...ni buena ni mala. Deberían corregir los horarios para no hacer reservas antes de las 17:00 cuando abre el restaurante.
