"Made a reservation to the table in the corner was late 10 min and she says it was given away while there was only us in the restaurant, we sat and the lady for some reason out of no where said oh i know you dont drink milk and dont eat meat? While we do! , she was so talkative and touchy while my family sitting with me, the way she acted with us was so strange she throws the menu at me when i ask something about the dish and acts as if i am stupid at first i was oh maybe this is the culture in Switzerland? But no! I went to couple restaurants after they were way better and better staff, i wont recommend this place to anyone. Overall the food was okay and priced are not worth it at all. And just to keep in mind the photo’s of the boat are not in front of the restaurant or accommodated to it, actually it is under it which was weird of them to put it in the place Photos anyways it is up to you but we ordered the soup of the day which is horrible the only thing i would recommend is the sea bas and the salad is a no go at all."

La terrasse était à moitié vide, mon mari et moi nous sommes installés en terrasse et avons voulu commander 2 espresso au serveur qui a marmonner, en allemand, pas dehors... nous sommes donc partis, déçu par un tel accueil...

Amazing views and savory pasta with unique ingredients. Ravioli with rabbit was delectable. Perched above the ferry port. Cool winding cobblestone walkway from the boat to the restaurant. Service was prompt and English was spoken. Great authentic Italian food in Switzerland!

we went as a group to this charming restaurant on a cliff overlooking lake Lugano.the view is magnificent. the owners were charming and open. they treated us as if we were family. the food was wonderful and tasty. the wines were great. this was our second time here and was so happy to have our grandchildren experience this as well.

Wenn man manchmal Aussagen zu Restaurants liest, bekommt man das Gefühl, es gäbe Gäste, die auf der Flucht sind und nicht im Urlaub... Eigentich schade! Denn an einem Ort wie im Roccabella lohnt es sich, sich einfach Zeit zu nehmen und zu geniessen, mit einem Aperitiv, einem feinen Essen und einem passenden Caffe. Ein wunderbarer Mittag!
