Nice baroque location, simple and tasty decorated. Good plates, nicely combined ingredients. Quite and relaxing athmosphere

If starter, main or dessert, Romanushof won't disappoint. Also the ambience is very nice and guarantees for a memorable evening. Staff very friendly.

I went in for a late lunch on Sunday when everywhere else wa closed. Despite the cavernous interior I enjoyed potato soup and pork loin. Efficient service

The rooms are pleasant in this historic baroque building and the staff was very friendly but the food was just OK. Most items seemed a little overcooked including the half-duck which is a house specialty.

This may have been my husband's favorite meal of the week. The red cabbage side dish was sweet and savory. He remembered it enthusiastically and talked about it days later. I enjoyed the beef dish with horseradish and a Shandy to drink!

A pleasant setting with inside and outside dining Food is of good standard and portions very generous. We have been there a few times over the years and not been disappointed Children welcome and staff friendly Price is lower than expected for the quality and portions.

We stopped in here on our first night in Leipzig on our way to the Christmas Market and were totally satisfied with the food and the service. We were promptly sat and we ordered our food in a timely manner. The service was good and attentive with our beverages brought right out. We received our food in short time and was delicious. We ordered typical German cuisine and enjoyed it thoroughly. The restaurant is set in an older building which creates a nice unique atmosphere for dining. Additionally we came back the next night since we enjoyed it and we did not have the energy to search for another restaurant we were feeling unwell. Would definitely recommend the Romanushof Restaurant!

This restaurant is an odd mix. The impression outside is of an upmarket restaurant, yet once inside out is quite normal - tiled floors, no tablecloths, cutlery brought in a beer teammate - although the courtyard (Hof) is surely a nice setting (be sure to reserve).The food is not amazing but ok. The Pfifferlinge soup with walnuts to start, served in a small metal pot with lid, was delicious. My Sauerbraten main course was tasty but was likely something warmed up (?). My wife's Schiller chicken breast was good, but a smallish portion. The desert, Quarkkeulchen, was pretty good, would have been better without the chocolate sauce.Service was slow to get started but then friendly and prompt. At 4...

This was one of those times when I already knew it was a bad place just after getting my drink and waiting for the meal to come.I was travelling solo and asked for a table accordingly. I do not mind sitting in a slightly less attractive area in cases like that, but this time I was seated in a draughty place even though several tables were empty. And they remained empty throughout...Service was somewhat witty, but it did not feel right and it felt more like an attitude.The food was awful. I ordered beef in horseradish sauce with spinach and fried potatoes. It took long to have it served - even though the food that I ordered was not requiring this in my opinion.
