Nothing special, just ordinary quality dishes. There are places for better and much more flavourful fish and chips

... I would say you should pay a visit to a legend and discover it. . ONE visit is okay. Fish perfect. Calamaris... well... chips... well... fish sauce well...

4.0 Quite okay for a chippy, but nothing special tbh. Chips were a little too soggy For my taste, fish was fine. You get cod, haddock, plaice as options. Quick service.

Not too keen on the oldies interior decor nor the cramped seating arrangements, but the food was great served efficiently by friendly staff. Recommend the haddock along with some of their drought ale to wash it all down Ver carta

The atmosphere is very cool and the fast and friendly service is impressive. The haddock (haddock) was slightly better. We were kindly advised to take Regular, the extra charge is hardly worth it. The fish (or rather the breading) could have a little more taste. Maybe we should have just drizzled vinegar on it.

I had the most basic cod fish and chips and it was delicious. I liked it because it had no thorns and was full of thick meat. Since it wasn't seasoned separately, I felt it tasted best with a sprinkle of lemon and salt. Those who find it difficult to take on the challenge will find it easier to approach if you think of it as a Korean fish cutlet!

Poppies fish is very good, the rest of the meal not so good. Chips are just frozen potatoes, tartere comes in a tiny jar and when you ask for more they charge you. This was an expensive meal for what we ordered. Price's are very high for what you get. We have found wonderful fish and chips in local pubs at a reasonable price. Don't believe the YouTubers!
