"We have been coming here for years but our recent experience was terrible. Service was appalling, they were not busy in the restaurant but very busy with take aways. We arrived at 7pm and left at 8.35 having only had a starter platter in that time. We waited almost an hour for our main course to arrive and then gave up and left. They still presented the full bill to us despite our dissatisfaction and when we complained they took only £5 off it. Wine took ages to arrive as did starters, as did water. They also took 15 mins to tell us they were now out of house white wine. Didn’t offer an alternative for the same price. The management here is clearly an issue, they also need to decide in the kitchen where their priorities lie. Diners or take away! We will not be going back anytime soon as we left hungry and went to another restaurant nearby. I hope you take this review seriously and take actions to ensure no one else has to sit though a similar experience"

We visited last night for a meal with our son and his friend. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend eating here . I was initially reluctant to try here as some of the reviews were not complimentary, thank goodness I decided to make my own mind up .

The restaurants prioritises take aways rather then the people eating in the restaurant. It took an hour to get a starter and the couple next to us left as they got fed up of waiting and the staff didn't even notice At £20 for rice and a curry you would expect great service not no service! There are many better Thai restaurants in Ealing so I won't be going back

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the food is excellent. I especially enjoyed the squid and popcorn shrimp, followed by a flavorful curry and a delicious pad thai. Although there was a slight delay in getting our food, the staff was amazing and offered us some prawn crackers as an apology. The lady with short blonde hair, who I assume was in charge, was very attentive. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The best Thai food I’ve had outside Thailand!! My daughter and I both have Coeliac disease and were able to order almost everything on the menu. The food was absolutely gorgeous. We were told if we didn’t like the modified Gluten free pad Thai they would happily exchange it. Amazing service and every dish was to die for!!!! We were served by Marchin who was so accommodating. Also we sat outside with outside with our dog and they brought her a bowl of water

We ordered take away from Rosa's This cafe this evening. I've had nice Thai food there in the past both in the restaurant and as takeaway. Today the green curry was largely inedible with the contents swimming in a thick brown sauce. More reminiscent of a Chinese curry. Not recognisable as a Thai green curry at all and unpalatable. Apart from a few mouthfuls, it had to be thrown away in the food bin. The summer rolls were not authentic and were tasteless. These are usually full of delicious fresh herbs and raw vegetables. These contained mostly cabbage and carrot and again were not typical of thai or vietnamese summer rolls. The sticky rice was OK. Won't be going to Rosa's Thai Cafe again.

When we inquired about our mains, a waiter finally cleared our plates and brought the food shortly after. However, my partner's chicken was cold and when we raised the issue, the same plate was brought back minutes later without an apology. It appeared they had simply microwaved the same plate, resulting in tough and rubbery chicken. After finishing our meal, we had to request the bill and have the erroneous charges for the prawn crackers removed. The staff seemed to sense our frustration and randomly added a 25% discount to the bill, but we would have appreciated a more genuine response such as an apology or explanation. Overall, it was a disappointing experience despite some tasty dishes...

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
