Mum and I were the only two eating in the restaurant/bar. The food was very average. The staff were very pleasant but again was very average. I didn't feel they went out of their way for anything!! I recently dined at Rose and Crown pub and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service by DIVYA NARKUTI was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made our visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this pub for a great meal and excellent service. Great place for a perfect evening! The staff is very friendly especially Divya. She ensured that we had a smooth and pleasant evening. I visited the pub twice and Divya had served us both the times. I remember her for her friendly behaviour and quick service. Ambience is also great. Overall an amazing experience. Would definitely visit again!! Nice place to spend a Friday afternoon by the river Colne. Book early for the table by the bay window with the views of the river. Otherwise, there are seats outside. Standard Greene King burgers that were cooked well and served in a timely manner. The staff were happy to make changes to our orders and were able to provide a separate side salad. Time your visit to arrive before high tide to get the best views of the river.
