Rose Crown - Carta

I booked a table for drinks early. ordered food at no comms still wait on net when ordering steak, not advertised, but sure they had. came ar burned, not carved. sent back not loaded, but not the point.

this pub for the first time for a few drinks between christmas and new year visited and we were not disappointed. decent quality and good price beer / camp, cozy, but not crowded and great music on while we were there!

This time there was no table service, but it should have been. also there was no place for social distancing at the bar. they had some reasonable local brewing on tap, and that was served quickly and was well presented and delicious Ver carta

Accommodated adults and children after trying to book other places and so glad we got in the staff were lovely and the Sunday dinner was to die for gorgeous tender beef perfectly cooked veg and tasty gravy would highly recommend and will...definitely be going again

Had a great meal. Just as good as before lockdown. They have taken covid precautions seriously. Tables were cleaned down and disinfected between use. Table service only. Hand sanitizer throughout the pub. If your worried about safety Rose and Crown is the pub to go...too. Couldnt fault them.

visited on Valentine's Day, the menu was not tasted to my partner, so the chef came to our table and asked what he could prepare for us, great customer service that is rarely seen today! very highly recommend the handmade wobble rings, bar staff very...attentively, looking forward to the re-visit. Not sure I need to say much. Look at the picture. Amazing food, great staff and service. The Rose is a lovely local pub that just happens to create fantastic dishes. Good choice of drinks too. Go enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance, but go hungry...and try the food. Nice covered beer garden and plenty of parking in the vicinity.

This place had been recommended by friends. The service was poor. My friend asked for cutlery they took it from another person on our table. Hairs found in one of the starters, complained to waitress to be given a dirty look, it was eventually changed....Fries that came with the burger were under cooked and rock hard, drinking glasses absolutely filthy and soft drinks flat...avoid this place is my advice!

We went here especially for a roast on the Sunday and we weren’t disappointed. The size of the portion was generous and everything was very tasty. I was surprised to see we only had one roast potato and that was about the entire range of...roasted veggies. We had mash instead, which was very nice. The price was very reasonable as well. The table service has room for improvement, but we enjoyed out time there. I would recommend. Ver carta
