"I am honored and astounded to be the first to review this magical food-meets-forest experience. Granted, a car is needed to reach this pinnacle of Soriano nel Cimino dining, accessible via wending tree-lined roads, up and up the mountain. But it is well-worth the adventure. First, the menu: regional, traditional, seasonal. Started with carpaccio (in this case, more preserved beef than raw), moved on to a primi of chestnut and porcini pockets in a cream sauce, and then to a secondi of veal on polenta, topped with porcini mushrooms (can't get enough)!
