"I live in Nice and I am very accustomed to the 'French service' it's just a French way of life :) I got quite excited about this new Italian restaurant that is a well known chain so I thought I'd try it. I arrived and ordered a glass of wine, and then 10 mins later I ordered a bowl of spaghetti with tomatoes. It's pretty simple, solo order, bowl of pasta, not many people in the restaurant... I was writing something and suddenly noticed the time... An hour had passed and I still hadn't had my food! The 3 tables that had arrived in the meantime had been served and were nearly finished! I asked if my food was on its way, the guy was so rude to me I was horrified, then I asked well I think I'd prefer not to have it having waited so long and been spoken to so rudely, to which he just said 'fine goodbye' - then suddenly my pasta appears - and I said to him well I'm starving and it's here now I'd like to eat it but surely I shouldn't have to pay for this having waited an hour, he said "Madame not my problem goodbye". Urgh how rude - and by the way I speak fluent French and did this all in French so it wasn't even a case of being taken as a tourist. Do not go here ever. What horrible horrible people!"

We loved this place, service was excellent, the best Caprese Salad ever! The Arugula and the Mozzarella cheese was fresh as were the tomatoes! The music was great too!

We had low expectations of the restaurants in touristy Cours Saleya, but this one was good. The service was attentive and friendly. They obviously care about what they do.

A nice meal to round off the day in Nice. Set menu was excellent for my wife but looses a star for no vegetarian option for me! Attentive and speedy service, recommended compared to others on the street...

Great caprese...okay food....horrendous service. With all the choices in Nice...never again. The food was staged sporadically with appetizers coming after entrees. The waiter was annoyed to take our 100 euro plus order.

When we arrived the restaurant was empty at lunch time on a Saturday. We should've taken this warning and gone somewhere else. The food was fine, but I'm pretty sure by the time it arrived, we saw all of the staff begin and finish their respective lunches.. wouldn't recommend this stop.

The best pizza in NICE .Service was attentive all questions asked were answered re the food .WE asked for a different Salad that was on the menu No worries all sorted out with out any difficulty . The pizza chef has won heaps of awards we can see why .The rest of the family had different food all with wonderful compliments .

We would eat here again because every dish we ordered was outstanding but overall I struggled to even rate this restaurant a '4'. The atmosphere was okay; unfortunately, we arrived as the market was closing down so there were a lot of trucks and cleaners in our view - a different time of day would have been better. The server was so uninterested in helping us we almost left before our meal was brought out and what a shame that would have been since the chef obviously knows his way around the kitchen. The food was the best we had in Nice; the service just barely okay.

We ate here after going through the Cours Saleya market. We looked at the menus at several restaurants in the area and they were all virtually the same. We came across Rossopomodoro on the way, and decided to eat here, mainly because my father is extremely picky when it comes to eating. We were able to find something he could eat, which he actually liked. This was one of the month special items, and we also got another item from the month special menu. The staff knew about their menu and when asked which they recommended the could direct us. The portions were quite big. In fact we only ordered two dishes for three people and brought home the leftovers. The service was excellent. I speak only...
