"Excited to have seen the menu online before we got there, I was high on expectations. We were greeted warmly by the lady who sits at the reception, she turned out to be the nice lady who made our reservation on the phone. We were 4 adults and 1 child, our friends brought their little daughter along. I was the only vegan on the table. They have a specific vegan section on the menu which I love. The appetizer was very delicious, everyone on the table tried and was fully impressed. The main course was so so. No desert, so just tea for me. The service was bad, they forgot to serve the child on the table, totally forgot and didn’t even check if something was missing from the table. After all adults got their main courses, after we asked about it, only then they realized there was a mistake and the pasta for the child was not ordered in. They start cooking and when they finally served it, the little girl is no longer hungry, what from all the waiting and all the bread snacking. Rude male staff (dark haired) hardly smiled, seem to have a bit of attitude going on. He was the one taking orders, only smiled when my husband asked him if everything was ok. At the beginning we totally felt unwelcome. The lady waitress was better, she was there to recover the service for the child. I looked at other waiter who were waiting on other tables, he was smiling and seemed to be enjoying what he’s doing. It’s just our luck I guess. Amazing view, we enjoyed our time and meal anyway."

When we arrived, we asked the waiter because vegan was missing on the menu outside the tris. He confirmed that it is no longer available. We did not eat here, but I wanted to warn vegans that there are only a few options on the menu (the polpette as starter, for example).

Qualche sera fa ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante, considerato uno dei migliori di Malcesine. Il ristorante Rossovivo è un locale moderno situato a letteralmente due passi dal lago di Garda, ideale per chi vuole godersi una buona cenetta con vista. Il cibo risulta essere nella media e il prezzo è ragionevole, l’unica pecca è però la poca scelta proposta nel menù. Il servizio è eccellente e il personale sempre cordiale!

When we arrived there, they said that they do not serve food at the moment, we were very confused and we discussed whether we should wait 2 hours until the service starts again.
