Found this after the place we wanted to go to was closed. Such a great find amazing food and even better service will definitely return

The food was outstanding. The service was excellent and the decor was lovely. I would highly recommend this restaurant to both tourists and locals.

Great environment, great food. We have been going for more than 10 years, never disappointed. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for so sit back and enjoy.

Excellent Chinese food and always friendly staff to welcome you. Happy to return here every time we visit the island for our holidays wherever we stay on the IOW.

We had dinner at the Royal China restaurant on three occasions during our short stay in Sandown. Each time we had different meals, all of which were good. One shortfall: we would like to have had a couple of scoops of ice cream to finish the meal, but this wasn't available.

Just got home with our takaway.. The meal was absolutely delicious... every dish has been eaten with nothing left.. Great sized portions enough for a plateful tomorrow.. comments from family like the best Chinese I 've ever had ... really says it all.. Very impressed.. and being greeted by the friendliest owners with the biggest smile completes the experience..

Just a quick note.. went the my wife for dinner, the service is attentive and friendly, welcomed at the door and shown to our table. The food arrived quickly after ordering – superb, tasty and hot. Kung Po king prawns amother the dishes consumed. The decor is a supprise with so many lanterns which just adds to the evening Nothing seemed too much- overall a delight and excellent experience. Would be happy to return here on our next visit to the Island.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. Although I didn't receive the main dish I ordered (crispy fried noodles), they brought me a chow mein instead. Despite this mix-up, I still enjoyed my meal. We had to request prawn crackers, sauce for the spring rolls, and napkins. Additionally, the staff simply placed the wine on the table and expected us to pour it ourselves, which was a bit disappointing in terms of service. However, we would consider returning because the food was hot and flavorful.

My wife and I dined at this restaurant last Wednesday evening on the 13th of September. We were warmly welcomed and given time to peruse the menu, which had a fantastic variety of dishes. We decided on a set menu for two, which was absolutely delicious. The food was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Furthermore, the owner, along with his young waitress and waiter, were very friendly and attentive. They even asked if we wanted to take our time before selecting a dessert. My only regret is that we live on the mainland and won't be able to visit this amazing restaurant again soon.
