"Royal Donuts is just mega. Especially the option on the site to create its own donuts I find cool, my favorite is powder sugar, blueberries, raspberries and pistachios cream filling. The combination just tastes incredibly good. You just have to be aware that the donuts are almost all crass exaggerated and overloaded, with fancy toppings, sauces and fillings so that after a donut you are already afraid to suffer a heart attack immediately. But good donuts are 99% sugar and fat, so it should be."

Love to see how many vegan options you can find in a nonvegan donutshop. Donuts taste exactly as I remember the nonvegan option, there is no need for the nonvegan options at all :

The variety of vegan donuts is big. But they don't prepare many or at least don't have enough for the whole day, because I went there a few times, where they were out of vegan donuts... so thats unfortunate and you have to go there before 1pm at least. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-17

(Review from September 2020) Royal Donuts is a chain, so I knew them before coming to Kiel. But this was the first time I saw vegan crossnuts/cronuts (donut croissant hybrid). Got one and it was just extremely tasty! Not cheap though, especially since you always pay extra for vegan donuts. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-31 Ver carta
