"My best friend and I now celebrated on the 4th. Let's have a round birthday together. She's the first to do, I'll follow next year. A high on long-term friendship, you have to create! Between our birthdays are 367 days. Your 50th birthday party will be moved in the summer and our plan was our 99th. to celebrate very close circle. Girlfriend, man, daughter, PetraIO and her favorite companion. The village of Weiskirchen in the Saarland gave my girlfriend a wellness weekend. The Saturday evening should not take place at the hotel and so I was allowed to deal with the few alternatives. I immediately discovered the School Kättchen. At the menu, I immediately knew everyone was going to be there. And the ambience with the greatest possible omission of electric light would also please my full romantic friend. She is also a teacher. The more than 160-year-old farmhouse served temporarily as a school, a traveling teacher taught here. At the same time we arrived in front of the rustic farmhouse and entered the original premises through a heavy wooden door. . There is still much in the original state, e.g. the old tile floor, wooden beams etc. It is complemented with harmonious decoration from past times. The guest room is actually only illuminated with candles and a few light chains. , Very unusual, but the eyes quickly became accustomed to the cozy light. The presumed head of the house was right at the place and supplied us with food and drinks cards. Also the rest of the evening she accompanied us sovereignly, supported by Mr Repplinger. We were the first guests, briefly exchanged congratulations and gifts, and within 5 minutes almost all tables were occupied. That was incredibly fast and I was very happy to have booked in time. For aperitif we chose 3 x Riesling Sekt from Moselweingut Rosch € 5,00 0.1 l and 1 x Campari Orange € 4.20. The “child” got a soft cocktail with orange juice and fresh pomegranate juice € 5,00. 2 bottles of Tönissteiner mineral water, € 6,00 0,75 l. 1 apple juice choir, € 4,00 0.4 l. Our appetizers: For my husband: 3 potato buffer with applesa € 8.70. The potato buffer homemade and crispy baked, with plenty of apple. One of my husband's favorite foods, unfortunately there are the potato buffers in the gastronomy much too rarely freshly prepared. This was absolutely the case here and so it tasted. For my girlfriend and me: goat cheese congratulates on leaf salad € 13.80. A large slice of mild creamy goat cheese, congratulates with good and taste-intensive honey. For this impeccable leaf salad with very good and light balsamicodressing. Gratined goat cheese with salad The daughter was satisfied with a colourful supplement salad € 4.50 and her father with herbal quarter with garlic and fresh land bread € 4.50. In front of the main foods we stumbled in the very well placed wine map. The good houses are represented by the German winemakers. You can't make a mistake when ordering. The foreign wines certainly also, but I cannot judge that. Our choice fell to the 2017 Riesling, again from Rosch, Leiwen. 0.2 l € 6.50. And the 2018 Grauburgunder from the pfälzer Weingut Klaus Meyer, Roth. 0.2 l € 6.50. Our dishes were served together and on well preheated plates. For my husband and my friend: truffleravioli (from the Pastamanufaktur Romana, Homburg), olive oil, tomato garlic and 3 Black Tiger shrimps. truffleravioli, olive oil, black tiger shrimps For me the same dish, but with 3 scallops. € 19,50. truffleravioli, olive oil, 3 scallops The shrimps and scallops really big and roasted on the point glassy. The Ravioli could have been a few more. Also the truffle taste quite behave, but the spicing of the kitchen made up everything here. Very good olive oil, the garlic well dosed, very fine! The child liked the small portion spaghetti with 3 Black Tiger Shrimps € 17,50. The portion was not small at all, but the pasta and shrimp lover mastered the portion perfectly. And our friend the vegetables chicken pan, slightly sharp, € 17,50. Potatoes and plenty of fresh Mediterranean vegetables served as a chicken fillet. Here too, everything was for satisfaction. This time a dessert was not allowed to miss the offer. Our presumed chief in the service was available with advice and deed. 2 x cream brûlèe with self made raspberry sorbet € 7.80 for mother and father that creamy sorbet the mutti migrated to daughter. He probably wanted to devote himself to the pudding and he was really incredibly good. But where is there a good one? It tastes like pistachios and not aroma? HERE! Tastefully top and Mr Repplinger confirmed my suspicion: In the kitchen the Pacojet helps! This part is really worth his money. But the ice mass must, of course, vote. I liked to take the Physalis to the ice, and I could have forgot the dough. The kitchen did so much good and homemade this evening, so the industry didn't really fit waffle rolls. Small and fine: Perfect pistachio ice cream 1 espresso € 2.00 and 1 latte Macciato € 2,80 there was also. When paying at the counter, I asked the young man who was probably primarily responsible for the drinks, as the “School” is now said. I was wrongly on the English trip. But no, very typical Saarland “School”. A really successful evening and a very personal little birthday party were finished. We were all thrilled and sure: we will be back soon. And not until you can enjoy the food in the lush natural garden! Photographing was really a challenge this evening. Just candles, beautiful. I didn't want to take pictures with Blitz. The cosiness was certainly not created to interfere with lightning. All dishes were beautifully dressed and of impeccable quality."

"We were very kindly received. We got the menu and were asked what we wanted to drink, although we hadn't looked into the map yet. What was good is we got water for our dog. After ordering the dishes until serving the same was a fair time. My soft wheat beer was the most expensive thing I've been drinking with 5 euros. Unfortunately, she was a bite from my wife. We got a replacement. My calfs carving had light roasted aromas and my sauce was warm. The wall we sat on was already very taken along. At the ceiling where the speaker is were spider webs. The taste of the dishes was fine. Staff are friendly and competent. That's 3 stars."

"Das Essen ist schmackhaft, leider liess der Service zu wünschen übrig. Die beiden Damen waren freundlich, jedoch nicht vom Fach. Dreckige Teller, Amuse geule ohne ein Wort hingestellt. Falsche Getränke. Essen von der Seite anstatt von hinten rechts. Nach dem Essen nicht abgeräumt. Allgemein Sehr unaufmerksam. Bei den Preisen erwarten wir auch einen guten Service. Da fehlte die Einarbeitung in jeglicher Hinsicht."

"I was allowed to visit Hofgut Dösterhof for the first time this weekend. And find it terrifying that I wasn't there before! Great location, great team and delicious food on top, what does Man(n) want more? The Hof Café invites you to stay with its beautiful outdoor area. Especially with a child I find the Dösterhof worth a trip, because the farm is still properly managed and has own stables with animals. This can be visited, which is always a highlight for small children. The Festsaal, I assume that it was a barn, offers a great ambience for celebrations of any kind. For weddings and birthdays I would recommend a company size of up to 80 people. For business events such as lectures and conferences a maximum of 120 people. A small terrace and a large meadow are directly connected to the Festsaal. Another advantage are the guest rooms directly above the festive room here you can fall into bed after a long party night. I'm looking forward to the next time I get back to the Dösterhof farm."

"I'd love to give 0 stars, but I'm afraid it won't work. I called there and no one went to it, so I decided to order online. After I ordered, I wanted to pick it up and found out only then that they did not check out their online orders. Then I asked why no one would answer, whose note: “Luxembourg numbers” we don’t answer (instruction by Chef). Something racist. Then he wanted to talk to the boss and he never showed up and the waiter went away again and again. Finally, I was also asked to pay for this, although I said clearly, now I don't want to order anymore. This restaurant is not recommended anymore, the customers are not all treated the same."
