Royal Thai - Carta

We arrived late towards closing time but were warmly welcomed and looked after. We know Thai food and this was as good as it gets. Highly recommended. Thank you for a beautiful meal!

Had a lovely meal with my family to celebrate a birthday. Fantastic variety of food, great choice of wine and beers. Superb service and a lovely surprise ice cream pud with birthday candle for my mum. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is where I often take visiting friends. Friendly attentive service, tasty food (we usually go for the excellent set menus), pleasant ambience. If you have an intolerance to an ingredient they will gladly change it to something else for you. Very much a place to return to.

The Thai food at this restaurant is amazing. It is fresh, flavorful, and not greasy, just like how it is in Thailand. I loved the duck panaeng, pad Thai, satay chicken, and spring rolls. Dinner was a great value, especially with the bottle of wine we shared. The restaurant had a busy vibe, which was nice to see. I highly recommend it.

A group of ten of us gathered for a midweek birthday dinner and we were all impressed with the fantastic food and service. My paneang dish was particularly delicious and full of flavor. However, the fish cakes were just okay and I wouldn't recommend them. Overall, we received good service and great value for our meal. We had an unfortunate experience with our takeout tonight. The pad thai was greasy and had an odd, reheated taste. The starters were soggy and had oil sitting on top of them. We were disappointed, especially considering we paid £45 for the meal and an additional £3.95 for a bag of crackers. We have had great meals from this restaurant before, but tonight's experience has completely turned us off.

Confused, too much going on are you. Restaurant or a take away, door going constantly, your staff and kitchen not keeping up, food not as good as it was, missed orders…. Something needs to change here, used to be great and even the staff said they cannot keep up up with the constant battle Uber and delveroo and take away and restaurant come on…. Make your mind up Get back to the basics and serve that great food and service in which we always came back for

Very disappointing. Has never been exactly great but we've been a few times and it's been OK and reasonably priced for lunch. We've also been there for dinner a few times. Last time was the worst lunch ever and we won't be returning. Squid starters were nice but the rest was poor. The Royal Thai Ginger was appalling and insubstantial with a watery sauce and a few bits of chilli it had 5 small, tasteless prawns. I was still hungry after toying with it. The green chicken curry was watery and less than average. Ver carta
